But after staying there a few times over the past couple of years, I’ve become a bit of a convert. The location on Forbeswood Heights is actually pretty brilliant if you know Taguig at all – you’re right at that sweet spot where Forbes meets the BGC action, but you’re not dealing with the insane traffic that hits C5 during rush hour.

What really won me over was how this four-star place manages to feel like you’re staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The one-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; I’ve made coffee there at 6 AM without waking up half the building, and honestly, having real counter space when you’re staying longer than a few days makes such a difference. The view from most units looks out toward the BGC skyline, which is particularly nice in the evening when all those office towers light up. You know what surprised me though? How quiet it stays at night, considering you’re so close to all the Fort Bonifacio nightlife – the building’s positioned just right to avoid most of the street noise from 26th Street.

The practical stuff is where this place really shines, actually. Parking isn’t the nightmare you’d expect (there’s dedicated space, though it fills up during peak season), and the building’s security is thorough without being annoying about it. I’ve had friends visit from Makati, and they’re always commenting on how much easier it is to get here than to some of the hotels deeper in BGC – you can actually take a decent route from EDSA without sitting in traffic for an hour. The staff has this relaxed professionalism that I really appreciate; they remember your name after a day or two, but they’re not hovering around trying to upsell you on spa treatments. What I find most valuable is being a five-minute walk from St. Luke’s – not that you plan on needing a hospital, but it’s reassuring when you’re traveling with family or staying for business long-term. Plus you’ve got Market! Market! close enough for real grocery runs, which beats hotel room service prices any day. The 9.1 rating honestly makes sense once you’ve experienced how everything just… works here without any drama.

  I really appreciate the layout and ambiance of the room. It smells great, is clean, and well-organized. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get when you check in. I also appreciate how cooperative the owner is; I accidentally left my ring behind, and she helped me find it. Thankfully, it was still there. The owner is also very kind.
  
  What could be improved: There are three things we didn't like about our stay. First, since we're new to the area, we had trouble locating the place. It might have been our fault, but it would have been helpful to ask for directions directly, which we unfortunately forgot to do.
  
  Second, there was a fishy smell inside the microwave, which I believe might have been left by the previous customer, or perhaps it wasn't cleaned properly.
  
  Lastly, and this may just be a matter of personal preference, but we found the bed to be quite hard, which is why we ended up sleeping on the couch instead.
