What really sold me on this place is the location – you’re literally steps from SM Mall of Asia, which I know sounds touristy, but hear me out. Having MOA right there means you’ve got everything from late-night dining to that massive IMAX theater, plus the bay area for evening walks. And if you’re flying in or out of NAIA, you’ll actually appreciate being in Pasay instead of fighting Manila traffic for hours. The hotel sits in this interesting spot where you get the urban energy but can still catch glimpses of Manila Bay if you’re on the right floor. I spent way too much time just watching the sunset from the common areas – there’s something about that golden hour light hitting the water that makes all the city chaos feel worth it.

The rooms themselves are well thought out, not huge but smartly designed with good storage and surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the middle of everything. The air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in Manila heat), and I loved that the windows actually open – small thing, but it makes the space feel less like a sealed box. You know what impressed me most though? The little details like decent water pressure, outlets where you need them, and blackout curtains that actually block light. The housekeeping team keeps everything spotless, and check-in was smooth even during what seemed like a busy weekend.
