I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Casiana Place Staycation at Shore2 Residences, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a staycation spot along Seaside Boulevard. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible.

The thing about staying right on Seaside Boulevard is that you’re literally steps away from Manila Bay, which means you get those incredible sunset views without fighting the usual crowds at Roxas Boulevard. I mean, sure, it gets a bit busy during rush hour with all the traffic heading toward NAIA, but honestly, being this close to the airport is kind of brilliant if you’re flying in or out of Manila. The four-star setup here feels more like a proper apartment than a hotel room – they’ve got full kitchens in most units, which is perfect when you want to grab fresh seafood from the nearby markets and actually cook it yourself. The staff mentioned that a lot of families do exactly that, especially on weekends when the whole extended clan descends for reunions.

What really got me though was how quiet it actually gets at night, despite being right in Pasay. The building’s positioned in a way that blocks most of the street noise, and the bay breeze comes through pretty consistently. I spent way too much time on the balcony just watching the planes take off in the distance – there’s something oddly relaxing about it. The pools (there are two, actually) don’t get crazy crowded like some of the bigger resort-style places, probably because it’s more of a residential vibe than a party destination. During weekdays, you’ll practically have the place to yourself. The gym’s decent too, nothing fancy but it has what you need, and it’s usually empty in the mornings if you’re into that sort of thing.

One thing I appreciated – and this might sound weird – but the elevators actually work efficiently here. You know how some places you wait forever? Not an issue. Check-in was smooth, parking was straightforward (they have covered spots, which is clutch during rainy season), and the Wi-Fi actually reaches the pool area. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches or anything like that, but sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable place where everything works as it should. The location really is the star here though – you’re close enough to the Mall of Asia complex for shopping and dining, but far enough away that you don’t hear the weekend concert noise. And honestly, for a staycation where you want to feel like you’ve escaped Manila without actually leaving, this hits the sweet spot.

  I had a very comfortable 2-day, 2-night stay at Casiana Place with my sister and niece. The owner was kind enough to let us leave our luggage in the unit while the caretaker was still cleaning, since we arrived early from our flight from El Nido. This was a huge convenience, as we didn’t have to carry our bags around while waiting for the 2 PM check-in.
  The unit itself was clean and cozy, and overall the stay was awesome. My only small feedback is that the body shower dispenser may have been forgotten to refill, and having a flat iron available would also be a nice plus.
  Other than that, everything was great, and I would definitely stay here again!
  
  What could be improved: No flat iron, no complimentary coffee packets for coffee in the morning ( it would have been a plus!)
