Kristal Place Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Kristal Place feels like discovering one of those hidden gems that locals don’t really want to share with tourists. This four-star property sits right in the Manhattan Plaza Tower 2 complex in Araneta Center, and honestly — the location couldn’t be better if you’re looking to experience the real pulse of Quezon City. The lobby has this understated elegance that immediately tells you they’ve put thought into the details without trying too hard to impress.
The Araneta Center Advantage
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re literally in the heart of one of Metro Manila’s busiest entertainment and business districts, but the hotel manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from all that energy. The Smart Araneta Coliseum is practically next door — I mean, you can walk there in minutes — which is perfect if you’re catching a concert or basketball game. Gateway Mall is right there too, so you’ve got everything from dining to shopping covered without dealing with Manila’s notorious traffic. The MRT and LRT stations are close enough that getting around the city becomes actually manageable, which anyone who’s spent time in Manila will tell you is no small feat.
The Room Experience
The rooms here strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and practical design. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that offered this amazing view of the city skyline — especially stunning at night when all the lights come alive. The bed was genuinely comfortable (not just hotel-brochure comfortable), and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. What I appreciated most was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in such a bustling area, the rooms stay surprisingly quiet.
Dining and Amenities
The hotel’s restaurant serves a solid mix of Filipino and international dishes, though I’d honestly recommend venturing out to explore the incredible food scene right in the neighborhood. There’s this whole world of local eateries and food courts in Gateway Mall that you shouldn’t miss. The hotel does have reliable WiFi throughout, which is crucial if you’re working remotely, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable rather than just going through the motions.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.6 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects something real about this place. Couples particularly seem to love it here, and I can see why. There’s something romantic about watching the city lights from your window while being close enough to everything that matters. The staff treats you like a person, not a room number, and the location gives you that rare combination of urban excitement and peaceful retreat. Whether you’re here for business meetings in the area, catching events at the Coliseum, or just want to experience Quezon City properly, Kristal Place gets the fundamentals right without any unnecessary fuss.
Exploring Manila layers church bells, neon night markets, and island day trips launching from the capital.

What could be improved: Inconvinience in parkingPerfect location, value for money – Lopez from Philippines – July 29, 2025 (9/10)
Value for money for its location esp for us who has appointments around the area. Everything you need to buy is within reach, malls are just accross the street. We also liked that our stay was very peaceful and quiet. Check-in process was smooth as long as you read instructions and coordinate with the caretaker.
What could be improved: I think the pillows or bed foam needs to be dry cleaned as it has a little bit of a smell (it sticks to your clothes when you lay on it), the sheets smell good though like fabricon.Very good place – Jo from Philippines – July 18, 2025 (10/10)
The owner is very accommodating. We checked in very late but still they are so nice.

Exceptional – Jarek from United Kingdom – March 28, 2025 (10/10)
The views!
What could be improved: 2 steps communication was unnecessarily complicated. I missed the swimming pool because of that.Very Good – Vivian from New Zealand – March 8, 2025 (8/10)
It was near the shopping malls and near 7/11 which make it easy to purchase something needed soon. The place was clean and private. A simple home away from home.
What could be improved: Just minor things like no tissue roll in the toilet. Would need extra rug inside the toilet to step in after a shower.
