It’s not huge, but it’s clean and surprisingly quiet considering you’re still in the metro. The Netflix part isn’t just marketing fluff either; they’ve got it set up properly in the rooms with decent wifi that actually streams without buffering every five minutes (which, if you’ve stayed in budget places around Manila, you’ll know is kind of a miracle). The four-star rating feels about right – it’s comfortable and well-maintained without trying to be something it’s not.

The location in Parañaque grows on you, actually. Yeah, it’s not Makati or BGC, but that’s sort of the point. You’re close enough to get anywhere you need to go – the airport’s literally fifteen minutes away, which is clutch if you’ve got early flights – but far enough from the tourist madness to feel like you’re experiencing something more authentic. There’s this little corner store about a block away where the tita running it makes killer lumpia, and honestly, those kinds of discoveries are what make a trip memorable. The street itself (Asiana Oasis Ephesus, which is quite the mouthful) is relatively quiet at night, though you’ll hear the occasional jeepney rumbling by in the morning.

What I really appreciated was the attention to small stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The air conditioning works properly – not too cold, not struggling to keep up. The shower has decent water pressure, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit demands or passport photocopying drama. The staff seems genuinely helpful rather than just going through motions, and a couple of them speak solid English if your Tagalog is rusty like mine. The whole place has this relaxed vibe that I think comes from not trying too hard to impress anyone – it’s just a comfortable spot to crash and recharge between exploring the city or before catching your next flight out.

  The property was a perfect stop over for the night before our flight early the next morning. It was clean, spacious and a little home from home for a chance to get our heads down. The kids enjoyed having Netflix and relaxing on the sofa and we all enjoyed a shower and freshen up. Very close (8 minute drive) to airport and we used Grab to order food when we got there in the evening, and a Grab taxi for the morning which was as super easy.
