When I first walked into Muji-Inspired hōme-tél in the heart of Makati, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the name’s a bit of a mouthful, right? But you know what, it actually delivers on that Muji promise. Everything’s clean lines and neutral tones, with this really calming vibe that’s pretty rare to find in busy Makati. The lobby has this minimalist aesthetic that feels almost zen-like, which is exactly what you need after dealing with Manila traffic. I mean, the location in Air Residences puts you right in the thick of things – you’re walking distance to Greenbelt and Glorietta, but somehow the place manages to feel like a peaceful retreat once you’re inside.

The rooms are where this four-star property really shines, honestly. They’ve nailed that Japanese-inspired simplicity without making everything feel stark or cold. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s plenty of storage space, which you don’t always get in Manila hotels. What I really appreciated were the little touches – good lighting for actually reading, power outlets where you need them, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel claustrophobic. The air conditioning works like a dream too, which trust me, matters a lot when you’re exploring Makati during the day. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it stays, even though you’re literally in one of the busiest districts in Metro Manila. The soundproofing is solid, so you’re not dealing with street noise or hearing your neighbors.

Here’s what makes this place special though – it’s got that rare combination of being perfectly located without the chaos that usually comes with it. You can walk to Ayala Triangle in about ten minutes, hit up the weekend market, then come back and actually relax. The staff genuinely seem to know the area well, not just the tourist spots but the good local restaurants and which malls to avoid during rush hour. Parking‘s handled through the Air Residences setup, so you don’t have to stress about that if you’re renting a car. The whole experience feels thoughtfully put together, from check-in (which was surprisingly smooth) to the little details in the room design. It’s definitely earned that 9.5 rating – I’ve stayed in plenty of Manila hotels that charge more and deliver way less. If you’re looking for somewhere that lets you explore Makati properly but gives you a genuine place to recharge, this is honestly one of the better options I’ve found.

  The apartment was beautiful, clean, and the location was fantastic! In a building with lots of restaurants, cafes, a 7-11, pharmacy, anything that you need. The host was one of the best I’ve had – he was super informative and communicative, giving clear instructions for everything and making it easy to check into the apartment.

  We loved the place and the host of the apartment is amazing. He is available via chat and very responsive. The room is cosy and convenient. Great is the large TV in the room with apps installed like Netflix (working account) but also the washing/tumble dryer machine. With the installed Dyson vacuum cleaner you can keep the room tidy. The location is nice with below the Air mall for convenience things and food

  This place is perfect! Danilo is a great host and very friendly! Room is clean and very comfortable, and has all the amenities you would need for a staycation. The location has a mall and it’s 20 minutes from the airport. If I come back to Manila I will definately book this place again. 10/10

  First I want to notice the communication with host: high-level. He provided a lot of helpful information, was very attentive to us, allowed us to check in earlier, than normal times and was super nice! The property was well equipped, clean. Huge TV and I haven’t seen before Dyson vacuum cleaner in such kinds of apartments 🙂
  The bed was comfortable and pillows too.
  The apartment is on the 52 floor, so you can find a nice view. Highly recommended!

  Absolutely wonderful stay. Danilo the host was amazing and had smooth prompt communication. So friendly!
  The accommodation was perfect in an excellent location in Makati, it also felt extremely safe. The decor was lovely, tasteful, minimalistic and clean. The amenities were also great with a large TV (Disney, Netflix, Youtube etc), fast wifi, Dyson vacuum and great aircon & shower. I will definitely be making this our regular accommodation when we come back to Manila.

  Host was very friendly and accomodating!
  The room was complete with amenties stated. It was clean and spacious. They provided complimentary snacks & water for our stay. There's also guide given inside the room for all the appliances and other necessities needed for our stay. Even the pool voucher is pre-paid for our convenience. Overall, it was a great stay! I will definitely reccomend this place to friends and family and I will surely book again for my next staycation. ☺️

  The Host is amazing, nothing was a problem and the communication throughout our stay was fantastic.
  The apartment is lovely and is in a great central location making it easy to get a Grab, Taxi or Jeepney to many places – Venice Grand Canal is a must (Particularly on a Night) there are also a good number of cafes and restaurants very close by inside and outside the Air Mall.
