That’s actually part of its charm. This four-star spot sits in one of those quieter pockets where you can actually hear yourself think, which is saying something in Manila.

The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this unexpectedly sophisticated vibe that catches you off guard. I mean, the design feels more like what you’d find in Makati’s business district, but without all the corporate stuffiness. The loft-style rooms are genuinely spacious – and I’m not just saying that because Manila hotel rooms tend to be shoebox-sized. These actually have room to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your luggage. The industrial-chic aesthetic works really well here, with those exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light during the day.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff seemed to genuinely care about getting the details right. Check-in was smooth (no standing around for twenty minutes while they “find your reservation”), and when I mentioned I was an early riser, the front desk guy actually gave me heads up about which nearby spots serve decent coffee before 7 AM. That’s the kind of local insight you don’t get from chain hotels. The neighborhood itself is pretty fascinating once you start exploring – it’s got this residential feel where you’ll see families going about their daily routines, small sari-sari stores on corners, and some surprisingly good local eateries that don’t show up in guidebooks. Sure, you’re not walking distance from Rizal Park or the typical Manila attractions, but honestly, that distance gives you breathing room from the tourist crowds. The area gets pretty quiet after sunset, which means you’ll actually sleep well – something that’s harder to guarantee in the busier parts of the city. I stayed here during what’s usually a hectic time of year, and the fact that it maintained this calm, almost residential atmosphere really impressed me. The 9.5 rating makes total sense when you experience how everything just works without drama – reliable wifi, consistent hot water, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. It’s one of those places where you don’t realize how much attention they’ve paid to the basics until you’re somewhere else dealing with flickering lights and temperamental plumbing.

  The property was extremely cozy and we were very comfortable there.
  
  What could be improved: I guess the only thing that we had an issue with had nothing to do with the unit, but more of the elevator. There was only one working elevator that we were allowed to use and sometimes it took a while to get up and down since we were on the 28th floor.

  Accessibility of place, very accommodating and flexible host. It's a place like our home. Very convinient for family relaxation and bonding because it's very safe and quiet.
