The rooms themselves feel more spacious than typical Pasay hotels, probably because this isn’t one of those cramped budget places you usually find around the airport area.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to create this bubble of calm despite being surrounded by the mall madness. The lobby has this tropical theme going on – not cheesy fake palm trees, but actual thoughtful design with natural materials and plants that don’t look like they’re dying under fluorescent lights. The staff seemed genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. When I mentioned I needed to catch an early flight, the front desk guy actually walked me through the quickest route to NAIA Terminal 1 and gave me realistic timing advice (turns out Harbor Drive can be a nightmare during rush hour, even for such a short distance). The hotel shuttle service is decent, though you’ll want to book it the night before if you’re traveling during peak hours.

Parking was surprisingly manageable – they validate at the mall garage, which is clutch because finding a spot around MOA can be absolutely brutal on weekends. The pool area is small but well-maintained, and it’s actually usable unlike some hotel pools that are more for show. I’d say the food situation is where they really shine though. The restaurant does this fusion thing that could easily be gimmicky, but they pull it off. Their breakfast spread has both international options and proper Filipino dishes that don’t taste like they’ve been sitting under heat lamps for hours.

Here’s my honest take – if you’re looking for that isolated resort experience, this isn’t it. You’ll hear some ambient noise from the mall and traffic, especially if you’re on the lower floors. But if you want to be right in the thick of things with easy access to shopping, dining, and that whole Manila Bay area without sacrificing comfort, it’s actually a smart choice. The 9.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the most luxurious place in Manila, but it delivers exactly what it promises and then some.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Manila at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals and religious celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular historic attractions.
