1BR and Studio Condo Unit @ 150 Newport near NAIA 3 Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about 1BR and Studio Condo Unit @ 150 Newport near NAIA 3, I was a bit skeptical about the name alone. It sounds more like a real estate listing than a hotel, you know? But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they went with the straightforward approach. This place is essentially what it says on the tin: proper condo-style accommodations right in the heart of Newport City.

The location is honestly what sold me completely. You’re literally a stone’s throw from Terminal 3 – I mean, you can practically see the planes taking off from some of the units, which is either cool or annoying depending on your perspective and how tired you are. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being this close to NAIA 3 doesn’t just mean airport convenience. You’re actually in one of Manila’s newer commercial districts, so there’s this weird mix of business hotels, shopping centers, and surprisingly decent restaurants all within walking distance. The Marriott and Hilton are your neighbors, which gives you an idea of the area’s vibe – it’s got that polished, international feel without being stuffy.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to make these four-star units feel like actual apartments rather than hotel rooms. The studio I stayed in had a proper kitchenette – not just a mini-fridge and microwave, but an actual stove where you could cook a real meal if you wanted to. The living area doesn’t feel cramped either, which is saying something for Metro Manila standards. I spent a rainy afternoon just lounging on the couch, watching Netflix on their decent-sized TV, and it felt surprisingly homey. The one-bedroom units are even better if you’re traveling with family or just want that extra space to spread out.

Now, let me tell you about the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re dealing with Philippine travel logistics. The building’s security is tight – maybe a little too tight if you’re in a hurry, but I appreciated knowing my stuff was safe. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak hours, though they do have valet service if you don’t mind paying extra. The elevators are modern and actually work efficiently, which sounds basic but trust me, it’s not always a given in Manila. And here’s a local tip: if you’re flying out early morning, grab breakfast at the nearby Café France in Newport Mall instead of room service – better coffee and half the price.

The staff genuinely knows the area well, too. When I mentioned I needed to get to Makati for a meeting, the front desk guy didn’t just say “take a taxi” like most places. He actually explained the best routes depending on the time of day and suggested the specific ride-hailing pickup points that work best during rush hour. These are the kinds of details that make a difference when you’re navigating a city like Manila for the first time – or even the tenth time, honestly.

  • Wonderful – Uybad from Philippines – July 21, 2025 (9/10)

the staff were accomodating, all the things we need were provided

  • Amazing good value unit – Whaley from United Kingdom – May 1, 2025 (9/10)

Area was amazing with food places and food stalls with a nice little water shop downstairs. Room was clean and balacony was large

What could be improved: Nothing really, just the bed i suppose was a little noisy

  • Very Good – Hirata from Japan – April 29, 2025 (8/10)

I like the room and the place , it's very convenient

  • Very Good – George from Ireland – April 25, 2025 (8/10)

Good location to airport, 10/15 mns walk over the bridge. Many restaurants nearby , pharmacy & grocery / bakery, 7/11. Local transport 50m fro condo.

What could be improved: Upon asking for a receipt both on my first stay & this recent stay I never received one. The owner's staff assured me the receipt would be sent by email. Upon paying particularly by cash one expects a receipt. I'm self employed , I require receipts for my expenses away from home. I think the management should address this issue and provide receipts on proper letter headed paper work. This is the only issue I have but it would deter me or all of my European colleagues from using the condo on future visits to Manila.
    Hope it can be resolved.
