Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to AZURE URBAN RESORT RESIDENCE R&C – Parañaque along that stretch of West Service Road, I wasn’t expecting much. The thing about staying near Marcelo Avenue is you’re really getting the best of both worlds without the Manila traffic madness. I mean, you’re close enough to the action but far enough out that you can actually breathe. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful – not that rehearsed hotel speak you usually get – and they knew their stuff about getting around Paranaque and the surrounding areas. What really caught my attention was how they’ve designed the common areas. There’s this sort of urban-meets-tropical vibe that doesn’t feel forced, if that makes sense. The pool area especially has these pockets where you can escape the city noise, which honestly surprised me given how close you are to the main road.

The rooms themselves are solid – clean lines, decent space, and the air conditioning actually works (you’d be amazed how often that’s an issue in this climate). I stayed on one of the higher floors and could see bits of the Manila skyline in the distance, which was nice for morning coffee. What I appreciated most was the practical stuff they got right: reliable wifi, good water pressure, and blackout curtains that actually block light. The mini-fridge was properly cold, and there were enough outlets near the bed – small things that matter when you’re trying to stay connected. Parking was straightforward too, which can be a real headache in this part of town. I did notice some street noise in the early evening, but it quiets down pretty well after 9 PM. The building feels secure without being overly restrictive, and the elevators are quick enough that you’re not standing around waiting. You know what really stood out? The housekeeping was thorough without being intrusive, and they restocked everything properly. For business travelers or families wanting something more spacious than a typical hotel room, this place hits that sweet spot between apartment-style comfort and hotel conveniences. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Manila, but it delivers on what it promises, which honestly feels refreshing these days.

  The apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. The WiFi was amazing and really quick and didn't lag at all with 5 people using it at the same time. The beds were nice and comfortable, nice big TV screen with Netflix included. Would book here again.
  
  What could be improved: The only little things for me was some of the floor tiles were coming up which could be a trip hazard for some people. And no Aircon in the main living area.
