Amora Suites at the Beacon Makati Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Amora Suites at the Beacon Makati on the corner of Don Chino Roces and Arnaiz, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come wrapped in unassuming packages, and this four-star property completely caught me off guard in the best possible way.

The thing about staying in Makati is that you’re basically in the heart of Manila’s business district, which means you get this interesting mix of corporate efficiency and Filipino hospitality – and Amora Suites nails that balance perfectly. The suites themselves are genuinely spacious (I mean, actually spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious), with separate living areas that make you feel less like you’re camping out in a room and more like you’ve got a proper base in the city. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped too – I actually used mine, which never happens when I travel. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re surrounded by one of the busiest areas in Metro Manila. I guess being tucked away on that corner spot helps buffer some of the typical city chaos.

The staff here operates with this effortless professionalism that feels authentically Filipino rather than corporate-scripted, if that makes sense. Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they actually seemed to know the neighborhood when I asked about getting around. The concierge pointed me toward some local spots I never would have found otherwise – there’s this fantastic little breakfast place just a few blocks down Arnaiz that serves the best longsilog I had during my entire trip. And honestly, being able to walk to Glorietta and Greenbelt makes such a difference when you want to grab dinner or do some shopping without dealing with Manila traffic. The location also puts you within striking distance of the Makati nightlife scene, though the hotel itself maintains a more subdued, business-traveler vibe. I’d say it’s perfect for someone who wants to be in the thick of things during the day but prefers coming back to somewhere that feels like a proper retreat at night. The 8.9 rating this place gets makes total sense once you spend a night or two here – it’s one of those hotels that just works without trying too hard to impress you.

Had a very awesome staycation at Amora Suites. It's a perfect place to relax and spend holidays in Makati. Jeena was hands-on and very responsive to my messages during my entire stay. I loved how the room was designed. It's very clean, simple yet homey . The room was well-equipped with flatscreen TV, microwave, refrigerator, air-conditioner, hot and cold shower, and a fast interest connection. Location-wise, the place was highly accessible to different restaurants, establishments, and public transportation so I didn't have problem with food and other things at all. Other amazing amenities to enjoy: fast elevators (4), big swimming pool for adults, kiddie pool and mini playground if you have kids, sauna, gym, and beautiful lounge area with free public wifi. Indeed, it was really worth more than the price. Will definitely go back and recommend this place to my friends.
