Azure Staycation by Maxan Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Azure Staycation by Maxan? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a newer property in Paranaque, but this place actually gets it right in ways that surprised me. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this clean, modern vibe that doesn’t feel sterile – sort of like they took the best parts of a boutique hotel and made it accessible without the pretentious attitude.
The location is actually pretty clever if you think about it. Yeah, you’re not right in the heart of Manila, but that’s kind of the point – you get the space to breathe while still being close enough to everything that matters. The airport’s maybe fifteen minutes away on a good traffic day (which, let’s be honest, is rare in this part of Metro Manila), and there’s decent food within walking distance. I mean, the local turo-turo spots nearby are legit, and there’s a 7-Eleven literally across the street for those late-night snack runs. The rooms themselves feel bigger than what you’d typically get at a four-star property around here – I’m talking about actual space to open your luggage without doing some weird dance around the bed. The air conditioning works properly (not always a given), and the water pressure in the shower is honestly better than some five-star places I’ve stayed at in Makati.
What really sold me on this place, though, is how the staff actually seems to care. Check-in was smooth, no weird hidden fees or surprise charges, and when I had a question about getting to MOA – which is pretty close by, actually – the front desk guy didn’t just point vaguely in a direction. He pulled out his phone, showed me the best jeepney route, and even mentioned which entrance to use depending on what I was looking for. That kind of local knowledge makes a difference, especially when you’re trying to navigate Metro Manila traffic. The pool area’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean and usually not too crowded during weekday afternoons. Parking‘s included, which might not sound like much until you’ve spent thirty minutes circling blocks in this city looking for a spot that won’t cost you more than your room. Look, Azure Staycation isn’t going to make Instagram influencers lose their minds, but it’s exactly what a good staycation property should be – comfortable, reliable, and run by people who understand that sometimes you just want things to work without any drama.

Very unpleasant experience…..Boracay themed was good – May from South Korea – August 9, 2025 (9/10)
it was a pretty good experience. The unit was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a short getaway. The location is convenient, especially with SM Bicutan right next door.
What could be improved: Bring bag of patience as check in is kinda slow.Great location – Martinez from Philippines – August 8, 2025 (10/10)
Unique resort within the city experience
What could be improved: Check in was slowGood but needs improvement on response time – Jelai from Sri Lanka – July 27, 2025 (8/10)
The view from the balcony was breathtaking during sunset. Security was polite and the location was very convenient, right beside SM Bicutan. Will recommend to friends!
What could be improved: Took hours to get a response from the host. The beach pool was also closed for cleaning during our stay.overall experience was good just manage your expectation – Jay from Philippines – July 24, 2025 (9/10)
The beach pool was beautiful, especially at night with the lights reflecting on the water. The unit had a nice interior, and the view from our balcony was relaxing. It's super close to the mall and accessible via EDSA and Skyway. However, the check-in process was a bit slow, and they charged us for extra wristbands and pool use which caught us off guard. Also, not all pools were open during our stay. Overall, it’s Instagram-worthy and convenient, but be prepared for some added costs and delays.
