Bay Garden Club and Residences Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Bay Garden Club and Residences along that stretch of Macapagal Boulevard, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The area’s got this interesting mix of gleaming towers and construction chaos that’s pretty typical for Pasay these days, but once you actually get inside this four-star property, it’s like stepping into a completely different world.
What really caught me off guard was how quiet it gets once you’re past the lobby. I mean, you’re literally right there with EDSA Extension buzzing nearby, but somehow the building design just swallows all that Metro Manila madness. The Mandarin Tower section where I stayed has this sort of residential feel – it’s not trying to be a flashy hotel, more like a really nice apartment building where you happen to be visiting. The rooms are genuinely spacious, which honestly shocked me given Manila real estate prices. I had enough room to actually unpack my suitcase and still walk around without doing that sideways shuffle you usually do in city hotels. The kitchen setup was particularly useful since, you know what, sometimes you just want to grab groceries from SM Mall of Asia (which is basically a short ride away) and make coffee without paying hotel prices.
The pool area became my favorite spot pretty quickly – it’s nothing fancy, but it’s got these views toward the bay that make you forget you’re in the middle of one of Asia’s busiest metro areas. Early mornings are best if you want it mostly to yourself; by afternoon it fills up with families, which creates this nice community vibe actually. What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to know the area inside and out. When I asked about getting to Ninoy Aquino Airport, the concierge didn’t just say “take a taxi” – he explained the timing differences between rush hour and off-peak, mentioned which terminal entrances are less crazy, that kind of insider knowledge that makes a real difference. The location works brilliantly if you’re doing business around the Bay Area or need airport access without the Makati hotel prices. Sure, you’re not walking to Greenbelt or anything like that, but the MRT and taxi connections are solid, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like where people actually live rather than just where tourists pass through. I’d definitely come back – it’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable and practical without trying too hard to impress you.

Reviews of Bay Garden Club and Residences
value for money, accessible and friendly host – Laureen from Philippines – December 26, 2024 (10/10)
The location is accessible to places we visited such as MOA and Manila Cathedral. The host is very attentive to questions, kind and friendly. The linens towels smells good and not overpowering. Complete toiletries and kitchen utensils. All we needed in a house set up was there and available. Real value for money considering the cost is not much. You can cook wash clothes. It's good enough for a family of 4 to 5.
What could be improved: I just wish there's Netflix account. And please spray bug killer before and after every guest use.
Except for the roaches over all stay was great. Definitely will come back again if needed a stay in the future.Good – Aly from Malaysia – December 16, 2024 (7/10)
