Bayprime Hotel Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Bayprime Hotel in the Aseana Business Park area, I wasn’t expecting much. The whole East District development is still pretty new, and you know how these business park hotels can sometimes feel soulless. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible.

What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to create this warm, welcoming vibe despite being surrounded by all these corporate buildings and construction sites. The lobby has this modern Filipino aesthetic that doesn’t feel forced – think clean lines with touches of local materials, and staff who genuinely seem happy to see you rather than just going through the motions. I mean, the front desk team remembered my name the next morning, which honestly doesn’t happen that often anymore. The four-star rating feels about right – it’s polished without being stuffy, and you can tell they’ve put thought into the details. My room had this great view over toward the bay (hence the name, I’m guessing), and the bed was one of those firm-but-not-too-firm situations that had me sleeping way better than I usually do when traveling.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location is actually pretty clever if you think about it. Sure, you’re not right in the heart of Manila, but Paranaque puts you close to the airport without the usual chaos, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels a bit removed from the city madness. The Aseana area has some decent restaurants within walking distance, and if you need to get into the main business districts, the transport links aren’t bad at all. Plus, and this might sound weird, but I loved how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the main thoroughfares that you can actually open your windows without being hit with constant traffic noise. The hotel restaurant does solid Filipino and international dishes, nothing groundbreaking but definitely better than your typical hotel food, and their breakfast spread hits all the right notes. I should mention that parking is easy here, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Manila traffic, you’ll know is worth its weight in gold. With an 8.1 rating from other travelers, it seems like I’m not the only one who was pleasantly surprised by this place – it’s one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something before everyone else catches on.

Reviews of Bayprime Hotel

  • Very Good – Elijah from United States – September 3, 2025 (8/10)

The bed was very comfortable and the room was a nice size. The staff was very welcoming as well.

What could be improved: Breakfast was very limited with mostly [ Pork options]. I was very disappointed because I dont eat pork at all. There really was no chicken, beef, shrimp, or fish choices at all. For a luxury hotel, the hotel management is very cheap and trying to save money by just serving pork only during breakfast. [ If you're a foreigner from a Western country, I dont recommend you stay at this hotel. You will be very disappointed with the breakfast options ]

  • Its comfortable to stay especially if you have flight next day. – Jenalyn from United Arab Emirates – August 15, 2025 (9/10)

Near to the airport, nice area and location because its near the mall. They even prepared the crib for my 10 months old baby which we appreciated.

What could be improved: I hope the aircon is not too noisy and not too cold that makes us not sleep well even my baby.Extra charge for early check in which I think almost price of 1 day (2500 pesos).

  • Chic hotel with great facilities and tasty breakfast – Abbey from United Kingdom – July 29, 2025 (9/10)

Modern, chic design in room and hotel; staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was delicious with so much variety.

What could be improved: One receptionist was slightly dismissive to one of my requests

  • Good hotel – Adrian from Qatar – July 18, 2025 (8/10)

    Clean

What could be improved: Reception team definitely. Also, king size bed booked, but not even informed me is not available. I realised in the room.

  • Location is good however those vegetarians should carry their food. – Raju from India – June 23, 2025 (8/10)

In breakfast very minimal or no options. Location is good

What could be improved: Vegetarian options

  • Wonderful – Juan from Colombia – May 16, 2025 (9/10)

Clean and close to the airport

  • Nice.clean-polite – Wayne from United States – May 15, 2025 (8/10)

    Very clean

What could be improved: Restaurant options. Nothing substantial to eat before 5:30pm. Breakfast options are limited for western visitors.

  • Wonderful – Petar from Bulgaria – May 6, 2025 (9/10)

Nice rooms, nice swimming pool, nice gym

What could be improved: I felt like eating at a chineese restaurant. Too much fried food. And this no leftover policy surprised me. Especially when its not announced in advance. Also it felt weird to hear that the hotel and the restaurant have different management ?!

  • Wonderful – Arcala from Philippines – April 25, 2025 (9/10)

Like the cleanliness and attitude of the staff are very kind

    What could be improved: N/A

  • Great experience – Fernando from United States – April 13, 2025 (8/10)

International traveler here – the Bayprime Hotel is in a newer development area so in terms of restaurants nearby there is not much in terms of walking distance but it is not an issue as grab/indrive/joyride are all cheap.

The staff is great and facilities are clean. Staff was very responsive and very friendly(cleaning staff was great when asked for new towels). The swimming pool is clean but for younger children (6under) there is no “shallow” end is more for older kids and there is an area whete you can do laps, The “kids” pool is approx 1-2 feet. The issue I had with the pool is their bathrooms are so far away from the pool, my children had to use the bathroom(cr) 2x in 2 hours so it was an inconvenience to get out of the pool and walk that far but not a deal breaker by any means.

People were commenting about the deposit is a non issue. I deposited cash not CC and it was easy to recover at checkout.

The breakfast has great options but the bacon was not cooked(again international from usa) we like our bacon crispy not floppy w no char marks. The cucumber water was flavorfull.

The rooms are small and simple but clean and comfortable. Only issue is the ac there are no ways to “modify” if if you are too cold just turn off until you get too warm then turn it back on.

I would recommend rebooking at BayPrime Hotel, they also have a small convenience store nextdoor if you need simple amenities/late nite snacks. Grab to local malls and area sights are cheap and quick approx 100-300pesos.
