I’ll be honest, when I first heard about Belle 4621 by TPS, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury hotel, you know? But after staying there twice now (once for business, once with my sister), I can say it’s actually one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel a bit smarter for booking it. The location inside SMDC Jazz Residences is pretty brilliant, honestly – you’re right in the heart of Makati‘s business district but tucked away enough that you don’t get the full brunt of street noise that hits some of the tower hotels along Ayala Avenue.

What really impressed me about this four-star place is how they’ve managed to feel boutique-ish despite being part of a residential complex. The lobby area has this modern, almost minimalist vibe that somehow doesn’t feel cold – maybe it’s the warm lighting or the fact that the staff actually remembers your name after day one. Speaking of staff, they’re genuinely helpful without being hovering-types, which I appreciate. The rooms themselves are spacious (and I mean actually spacious, not Manila-hotel-marketing spacious), with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you decent city views if you’re on the right floor. The beds are proper comfortable – I’m picky about mattresses and actually slept well both times, which says something.

Here’s what you should know practically speaking: the Jazz Residences location means you’ve got a Starbucks and some decent casual dining literally in the same building, plus you’re maybe a three-minute walk to Greenbelt if shopping or fancier restaurants are your thing. The rooftop pool isn’t huge, but it’s rarely crowded and has that Instagram-worthy city skyline backdrop if that’s your thing. Parking can be a bit of a maze the first time – just follow the signs for the hotel section, not the residential towers. One minor thing that might bug some people: since it’s in a residential building, the elevators can get busy during rush hours when residents are coming home, but honestly it’s never been more than a few extra minutes’ wait. For the quality and location, especially with that 9.5 rating they’ve earned, it’s definitely worth considering if you want something a bit different from the usual Makati hotel scene.

  Belle 4621 property exceeded my expectations. Everything in the unit was well prepared and properly cleaned that made things convenient for me.
  
  Very accessible location with a small commercial center next to it with many food options, a supermarket and coffee shops. Moreover, banks, atelier, laundry shops, and LBC courier service are also walking distance. Lastly, GRAB car service was trouble -free when it comes to accessing a mode of transport around Manila.
  
  I would also like to commend the building staff, who were all very professional, attentive and approachable.
  
  What could be improved: The unit was perfectly clean. This is particularly more on the cleanliness of the service elevator and garbage room at the penthouse level as there were cockroaches.
  
  Guests aren't allowed to access the gym and pool area. However, there is an Anytime Fitness Gym outside of the building which has good equipment and they also offer classes. I opted for the daily usage which cost 500 pesos.

  Amazing place with good location and facilities. Netflix and prime video are available on the TV. Many malls and attractions were nearby with convenient stalls located below the residency. Owner was very efficient with replies and ensured a smooth journey.
