The kitchen actually works, the living room doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and honestly, you get that local vibe without sacrificing comfort. The unit I stayed in had this decent-sized bedroom that didn’t make me feel claustrophobic (which happens more often than I’d like in Quezon City), and the bathroom was surprisingly well-maintained. The building’s amenities are solid too – there’s a pool area where you can actually relax without fighting crowds, and the security is pretty tight, which matters when you’re staying in a residential setup. I noticed they keep the common areas clean, and the elevators don’t take forever, which is honestly a win in my book.

Here’s the thing about the location – Novaliches isn’t exactly the tourist center of Manila, but that’s actually why I liked it. You’re close enough to get anywhere you need (SM North is maybe 15 minutes away), but you’re not dealing with the absolute chaos of the main metro areas. Quirino Highway can get busy during rush hour, sure, but if you time it right, getting around is pretty straightforward. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll find decent local food spots and convenience stores within walking distance. For the price point of a four-star place with an 8.8 rating, you’re getting legitimate space to spread out, a kitchen to cook in if you want, and that whole “living like a local” experience without roughing it. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I was planning a longer stay in Manila – sometimes you just want a proper bedroom and a couch that isn’t bolted to the floor, you know?

  The owner is so approachable. They always ask me how our stay was, if we needed anything. It's our 3rd consecutive year staying in this unit, and it's always exceptional. Looking forward to our staycation next year. Will definitely book again.
