Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about BGC – Two Bedroom Condo with Game Room with 400mbps WiFi- 09, that mouthful of a name made me skeptical. But after spending a week there, I get why they packed all those details into the title. They’re not kidding around about any of it.

The location in Fort Victoria building is actually pretty brilliant if you know Taguig. You’re right in the heart of BGC (Bonifacio Global City for the uninitiated), and I mean literally – step outside and you’re surrounded by all those gleaming corporate towers and trendy restaurants that make this area feel like Manila’s answer to Singapore. The 5th Avenue and 23rd Street corner puts you close enough to walk to places like High Street and Market! Market!, but far enough from the main drag that you don’t get the constant traffic noise. Well, as constant as it gets in Metro Manila anyway.

What really sold me on this place was the game room situation. I know it sounds gimmicky, but honestly, after long days exploring the city or dealing with work calls (that WiFi speed is no joke – I actually got 380mbps when I tested it), having a dedicated space to decompress was clutch. The two bedrooms are properly sized too, not those cramped hotel situations where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. The four-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the Peninsula or anything fancy like that, but everything works and works well. The air conditioning actually keeps up with Manila’s humidity, which anyone who’s been here in summer will tell you is half the battle.

You know what I appreciated most? The practical stuff they get right. There’s decent parking in the building – not a given in BGC, trust me. The elevators are reasonably fast, and the building security is professional without being intrusive. I actually felt comfortable leaving my laptop and camera gear there while I wandered around. The kitchen setup is solid if you want to grab groceries from S&R or Landmark (both pretty close) instead of eating out every meal. And look, eating out in BGC gets expensive fast, so having that option matters. The only minor gripe I had was that the shower pressure could be stronger, but that’s pretty standard for high-rise buildings here. Overall, if you want the BGC experience without hotel prices and with more space to actually live a bit, this place delivers on its admittedly long-winded promise.

  The wifi was fast! The shower was warm. The place feels safe and 7 eleven is in the property. Everything is close by. Management is receptive.
