For a four-star place, it delivers on comfort without trying too hard to impress you with unnecessary fancy touches.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t going to work for everyone. If you need room service and daily housekeeping, you might feel a bit neglected. But if you’re the type of traveler who likes having your own space, making coffee in the morning without rushing to beat breakfast hours, and actually living somewhere instead of just sleeping there, this hits differently. The building itself is pretty quiet after 10 PM, which surprised me given how busy Pedro Gil gets. Check-in was straightforward – no endless lobby waiting or overly chatty concierges, just efficient and friendly. I spent a week there during rainy season last year and never felt cramped or restless, which says something about the space and setup. Plus, having that balcony meant I could still get fresh air even when the weather was too unpredictable for wandering around the city.
