Bloom Residences by Casa Stellar Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Bloom Residences by Casa Stellar on Doctor Arcadio Santos Avenue, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The area around Parañaque can feel a bit sprawling, you know? But this four-star property actually surprised me in the best way possible.

What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to create this sort of residential feel while still being a proper hotel. The lobby has this warm, lived-in vibe – not sterile like some places that try too hard to impress. I mean, the staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure I was settled in, not just going through the motions. My room had these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light, and honestly, the bed was one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re drowning in pillows. The kitchenette was actually functional too – I’ve stayed at places where they give you a mini-fridge and call it a day, but this had proper counter space and decent cookware.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location is kind of perfect if you need to be near the airport but don’t want to feel like you’re camping in a departure lounge. You’re maybe fifteen minutes from NAIA when traffic’s cooperating (and let’s be real, in Manila traffic is always a gamble), but you’re also close enough to decent restaurants and shopping that you don’t feel stranded. There’s this little café around the corner that does amazing longsilog – totally worth the walk. The pool area is where this place really shines, actually. It’s not huge, but it’s got this nice urban oasis thing going on, especially in the evenings when the city lights start twinkling. I spent a couple of hours there just decompressing after long days, and it never felt crowded or rushed. The gym is solid too – proper equipment, not just a treadmill shoved in a closet somewhere. Parking was straightforward, which honestly is worth mentioning because I’ve dealt with some nightmare hotel parking situations in Metro Manila. One small thing – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs. Nothing terrible, just the usual sounds of people living their lives. Overall though, Bloom Residences gets it right where it matters. It’s got that extended-stay comfort but with hotel perks, and the price point feels fair for what you’re getting. If you’re looking for something that feels more like a temporary home than just a place to crash, this spot definitely delivers.

Reviews of Bloom Residences by Casa Stellar

  • A pleasant stay in a new apartment but not without its glitches and current lack of facilities – Ronald from Netherlands – December 22, 2024 (7/10)

    – New clean apartment, small but adequate, with good furniture.

    – Various consumables/cleaning articles provided

    – Uninterrupted views from the balcony

    – Excellent agency-host giving quick and attentive support, such as providing mobile internet upload to offset an unconnected modem. Also provided a quick connection of the washing machine to the mains

    – Pleasant and helpful condominium staff all around

    – There is a large grocery shop called Shopwise, and opposite, a relative small SM city mall with allaround fastfood chains as well. All within an easy 10 minutes walk in westerly direction along the main road from the Bloom residence entrance

What could be improved: It would have been advisable to be more upfront about the the construction works taking place and its readiness to operate, since you are paying a heafty daily/monthly rate and there are currently no facilities at all.

    – You are located on a building site, with only two (block A & B) out of 8 condos ready for occupancy. There is almost 24/7 construction work ongoing and thanks to the noice produced by the aircon, it is manageable and acceptable. Workmen still occasionally roam the corridors for repair and outstanding work of the vacant apartments (almost all)

    – The swimming pool looks fine to me, but has been closed since september 2024 (or much longer) and each time the date of “re-opening” is shifted from early december to late december, etc. Now perhaps in Q1/2025. Do not hold your breath on continued promises. This should have been mentioned/updated on booking.com by the owner, where is only states that there are no fitness facilities, or acknowledged by a considerable deduction in rental price. From its positioning there will be little to no sunshine over the pool area during the day.

    – The apartment lacks essentials, such as storage cabinets for your provisions. They are missing. Just some small shells. As such, your chinaware, forks and spoons, etc, needs to be placed permanently on the dining table. There are no knives provided to cut fruit, vegetable or meat.

    – There is no toilet brush to clean the toilet. All small items than can easily be rectified, so not an issue

    – No internet hook-up. Had to wait for 1 week. No washing machine hook-up. Mere start-up glitches Both were sorted out by the excellent agency host!

    – Due to continuous traffic congestion it takes a long time to reach central Manila, BGC, Makati, etc. Much longer than anticipated and expected.

In summary, all points can easily be taken care of, or will be resolved within a reasonable time frame. It should then be a convenient and well-recommended place to stay.
