Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Condo unit, I wasn’t exactly blown away by the marketing creativity. But you know what? Sometimes the best places don’t waste time on fancy names, and this four-star spot in Makati totally proves that point. I mean, it’s literally what it says on the tin – a condo unit that’s been turned into proper accommodation – but the execution is actually pretty impressive.

The thing about staying on Reposo Street is that you’re right in the thick of Makati‘s business district without being stuck on one of those crazy busy main roads where the traffic noise never stops. I was there during a particularly hectic work week in Manila, and honestly, I was grateful for that. You can walk to most of the major office buildings and shopping areas – Greenbelt’s maybe a 10-minute stroll, and the Ayala Triangle is right there. What I really appreciated was how the building itself feels more residential than hotel-ish, which sounds weird but it’s actually kind of nice when you want to decompress after dealing with Manila’s intensity all day.

The unit I stayed in had this sort of lived-in comfort that you don’t get in sterile hotel rooms. The kitchen was fully functional (not just for show), which came in handy when I grabbed some amazing takeout from the food courts nearby and wanted to eat it properly instead of hunched over a tiny hotel desk. The rating of 8.6 makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be the Four Seasons, but everything works well and the space feels genuinely comfortable. The air conditioning actually keeps up with Manila’s heat, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the shower has proper water pressure. You know, the basics that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for more than just a night or two. I did notice some minor wear around the edges – nothing major, just that slightly worn feeling that comes with a place that gets regular use – but honestly, it added to the homey vibe rather than detracting from it. If you’re looking for marble lobbies and concierge services, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a solid, well-located base in Makati that feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than checking into a hotel, it’s actually a really smart choice.

  I like everything, especially that the owner is flexible and not strict about the number of tenants using her unit.
  
  What could be improved: We are unable to use the Smart TV as it keeps showing "no internet connection," even though it is already connected to the internet. This aspect needs improvement. Nevertheless, I gave a high review rating because I am overall satisfied, and I believe it deserves that rating.

  What could be improved: – 2bedroom is a LIE, it’s a 1bedroom apartment (we booked for 4x ppl believing it was 2bedroom)
  – Sofa bed is very small in ‘living room’ which is a small living area
  – Photos of a two different bedroom is a lie, it’s same bedroom but with different bed coverings and photo angle
  – It’s on level 9 apartment (room 903, tower B)
  – Major construction of building opposite so it’s loud
  – View outside is poor (leave the curtain close) due to co construction
  – Description of bedroom 1, bedroom 2, separate living area IS A complete lie (FRAUD)
  – Only offered to give refund once complaint was made to Booking.com and they stepped in and made contact with them
  
  – If ad was honest and stayed 1bedoom wt sofa bed in living area, it would have been fine

  Room 4312, is a nice and comfortable place to stay. Also has a good luck charm for those who are taking their exams (NCLEX or English Exam). I stayed here and I passed the NCLEX. Recommendable for all of you guys.!

  What could be improved: The booking I have made was for 2 bedroom unit. We ended up in a 1br unit due to technical error sa booking.com according sa hosts. All good though cause the hosts gave us extra bed to use for free.
