You’re literally a stone’s throw from SM Mall of Asia – I mean, you can see it from the building – and honestly, that’s both a blessing and exactly what you’d expect. During the day, there’s this constant hum of activity from the mall and the nearby bay area, but it never felt overwhelming from the 6th floor. The unit itself (A0627, if you’re keeping track) has this lived-in comfort that a lot of hotel rooms just can’t match. The Netflix setup actually works properly, which I can’t say about half the places I’ve stayed, and the WiFi speed was legitimately fast enough for video calls – crucial if you’re trying to work remotely or keep up with folks back home. The whole “cozypura” thing isn’t just marketing fluff; they’ve really nailed that homey vibe with decent furniture and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

What I really appreciated was how practical everything felt. The parking situation is pay-as-you-go, which isn’t ideal but makes sense given you’re in Pasay where every square meter counts. Getting to Ninoy Aquino International Airport took me maybe 15 minutes in normal traffic – though honestly, “normal traffic” in Manila is relative. The mall connection means you’re never more than a few minutes from decent food, groceries, or that random thing you forgot to pack. I actually found myself hanging out at the MOA Esplanade in the evenings, watching the sunset over Manila Bay, which beats staring at hotel room walls any day. The building itself feels secure and well-maintained, and the elevators work consistently (small victories, right?). For families or longer stays, this setup gives you way more flexibility than a traditional hotel – you can actually cook something if you get tired of restaurant food, or just sprawl out and binge-watch something without feeling like you’re burning money on an overpriced room. At an 8.3 rating, it’s clear other people have figured out what makes this place work, and I get why they keep coming back.

Hotel in Manila booking should be done early, especially during festival season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and street parades at historic venues.

  The host is responsive: at the beginning he gave me a noisy unit where you could hear the traffic and then, as per my request, he gave me another unit giving to the courtyard.

  The rain shower does not have warm water, the mobile shower does. The water from the mobile shower is warm, but not hot.
  
  This accommodation shows in booking.com as an hotel, but it is not. It is an apartment.

  Great location if you wanna be near MOA. Full kitchen equipment, friendly and helpful owner.
  
  What could be improved: Pool usage is not included and costs 150 Pesos per day, that should be stated in the description.
  
  The bed is in a small separate room that doesn't have an own aircon (unlike on the photo). You can keep the door open and use the aircon of the main room, but it takes a while.
