I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Wynwood Hotel on San Miguel Avenue, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like another business district property. But you know what? This four-star place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby hits you with this cool, contemporary vibe that feels more like a boutique spot than your typical Ortigas hotel, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests walk through the door (which, let’s face it, isn’t always a given in Manila).

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to create this little oasis right in the heart of Pasig’s business chaos. The rooms are thoughtfully designed – I mean, someone actually considered that travelers need proper lighting for working and decent water pressure for those humid Manila evenings. The air conditioning works like a dream, which honestly became my favorite feature during my stay. From my window, I could see the urban sprawl of Ortigas Center, but inside, it felt surprisingly peaceful. The soundproofing is solid too, because even though you’re surrounded by all that Metro Manila energy, I slept better than I expected. The breakfast spread was another pleasant surprise – they do a proper Filipino spread alongside international options, and their longganisa was actually worth getting up early for.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the location puts you walking distance from some excellent local spots that most tourists miss entirely. There’s this fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurant just two blocks away that serves incredible sisig, and you’re close enough to the Kapitolyo food scene to explore without dealing with crazy traffic. Parking was straightforward (miracle in this part of the city), and they’ve got reliable WiFi throughout – crucial if you’re mixing business with leisure. The pool area is small but well-maintained, perfect for a quick dip after navigating Manila’s streets all day. I also noticed they keep the common areas spotless, which shows they actually care about the details. Sure, it’s not the flashiest property you’ll find, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a place that does the fundamentals really well without all the pretense.

  I had a fantastic stay at Wynwood Hotel, Ortigas. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very professional. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the front desk team made me feel right at home, accommodating my early check-in request.
  
  The room was spotless, well-lit, and beautifully designed with modern furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail—from the crisp linens to the quality toiletries provided. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which was a huge plus for both work and streaming.
  
  Location-wise, the hotel is in a great spot—close to SM mega mall, yet still quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep.

  What could be improved: i hope that the hotel kitchen can cater to serve guest who dont consume pork, or muslim or kosher diet. Appreciate it much if there is a section for halal food prepare in the appropriate procedure.

  What could be improved: 18th floor a little bit scary. Hallways lack of lighting..its like we're alone on that floor that anyone can easily rob us..feeling isolated!!just sayin!!

  strategic location, competitive price, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean, sound proof, quite, spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, pillow and blanket, bathrobe and slippers. I also like the big whole body mirror and essential rack for jewelry and coat. I will definitely stay again if I am coming back around the area.

  The staff at the Wynwood Hotel were all extremely warm and friendly. The rooms were well-cared for and the free wifi was fast and reliable. The complimentary breakfast served a varied selection of sweet and savoury dishes.
