I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Elegant Condotel at Grass Residence, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a condo-hotel setup. But you know what? This place actually works really well, especially if you’re the type who likes having more space than your typical hotel room. It’s tucked into the SMDC Grass Residence building right where Misamis Street hits Nueva Ecija in Santo Cristo, and honestly, the location is pretty solid for getting around Quezon City without dealing with the worst of Manila’s traffic chaos.

What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to make these units feel less like temporary corporate housing and more like, well, an actual place you’d want to hang out. The rooms are genuinely spacious – I mean, you’ve got a proper living area, not just a chair squeezed next to the bed. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, which came in handy since there are decent local markets nearby where you can grab fresh stuff. I ended up cooking a few mornings instead of always eating out, and that made the whole stay feel more relaxed. The four-star rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting condo-style space with hotel-level service, though I’d say the service is more low-key helpful rather than hovering-over-you attentive (which I personally prefer).

The building itself has that modern high-rise feel, and the elevators are actually pretty quick – something you notice when you’re staying on the higher floors. Speaking of which, try to get a room facing away from Misamis Street if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. It’s not terrible, but Quezon City doesn’t exactly quiet down at night. The area around Santo Cristo is interesting too – it’s got that mix of residential and commercial that means you can find good local food without venturing too far, but you’re also not stuck in a purely touristy bubble. There’s a decent 7-Eleven practically next door, and I found a surprisingly good lugawan place about two blocks away that became my go-to for late dinners. The building’s parking situation is straightforward if you’re driving, though you’ll want to confirm that when booking. Overall, it’s one of those places that grows on you – not flashy or trying too hard, just solid and comfortable with enough character to feel like you’re actually staying somewhere rather than just passing through.

  Gemma, the host, was very nice and responsive to our messages and requests! She responds very quickly which was a real plus for me. She immediately connected us to one of her staff members who was very ready to accomodate any requests we might need.
  
  The unit was small but comfortable. We had plenty of nights after a long exhausting day where we simply chilled in front of the tv, opening the sofa bed and watching movies on Netflix.
  
  The apartment has a lot of amenities tho. It has a hairdryer. clothes steamer, extension cord, microwave, rice cooker, and a stove if you want to cook.
  
  The location was also perfect! Across the street of Tower 1 are small shops: Convenience stores, Cafes, Laundry service, Food Areas, etc. And it is also connected to SM North Edsa (a really big mall) via a walkway bridge, so you pretty much have access to everything.
  
  What could be improved: Some of the appliance in the unit are getting a bit old. The AC unit is a bit loud and my partner, who is a light sleeper, had troubles sleeping because of it and had to use earplugs. The shower area is also getting old and could use a bit or renovation.
  
  This is a feedback for the Grass Residences rather than the unit:
  We wanted to go for a swim but we couldn't since we needed to get the permits from the Administration Office which was unfortunately closed and we had to wait until after the weekend to be able to swim. So if ever you want to make use of the swimming pool or any of the amenities in the area, already ask about their office schedules as soon as you arrive so you won't have to do any change of plans.

  Gemma was a great host. She was friendly, accommodating, and made the check-in process easy. She was also very flexible when I asked to extend my stay.
  
  The place was clean, well-decorated, and had reliable wifi and air conditioning, which made it very comfortable. I spent most of my days inside working on my masters thesis and watching Netflix and I had no issues with the wifi! There is a nice view from the room too! The location is convenient and felt safe with guards at the lobby.
  
  You don’t have to leave the complex for basic needs as there are shops, laundromat and ATMs on site. The mall is only a five min walk away, with a direct path from the complex. It’s also close to plenty of restaurants, making it a great spot if you like ordering food.
  
  I had a positive experience and would stay here again when I’m back in the Philippines.

  Gemma's attentiveness and responsiveness were exceptional throughout our stay, promptly addressing any queries we had. The unit as advertised online has all the essential amenities. It’s nice, cozy and comfortable however, I wish the curtains were a bit darker as it gets really bright in the morning, preventing us to sleep. Overall, my partner and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

  Good location to SM North & Trinoma. Short walking distance. The condo is at Grass Residence, a gated condominium community. There have few eatery shops, a dental, laundry, nail shop, courier service, massage, 24/7 convenient store within the compound.
  
  What could be improved: i booked a ABnB unit. Strict requirement needed. Copy of passport & proof of vaccinations need to be provided before the management approves your stay. Upon checked-in, no visitor pass or anything provided. Since its a gated condominium community, i need to provide the management approved letter each time i enter the compound & to the unit. Outside the compound, there is no bars within the walking distance. The only bars are located at the malls.

  Ms. Gem was super nice and accommodating. She is responsive to your concerns and will address the problem as soon as possible. The bed was very comfortable, room ambiance was homey and has an elegant feel due to mirrors all around.
