Walking into that elevator and realizing you’re about to have an entire three-bedroom penthouse to yourself in one of Makati’s most sought-after spots. I mean, when you think penthouse in this part of the city, you’re usually talking serious money – but this four-star place actually makes it accessible without completely emptying your wallet. The space itself is honestly impressive, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you this sweeping view of Makati’s skyline that changes completely from day to night. During the day you’re looking out at the business district humming along, and by evening it transforms into this glittering urban landscape that makes you feel like you’re living in some kind of metropolitan dream.

The location is what really sells it though – Knightsbridge Residences sits right in that sweet spot where you can walk to Greenbelt or Glorietta for shopping and dining, but you’re just far enough from the absolute chaos of Ayala Avenue to actually get some sleep. I stayed here during a particularly busy week in Manila, and while you can definitely hear the city (it’s Makati, after all), the penthouse level keeps you above most of the street noise. The three bedrooms make it perfect if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, and honestly, even if it’s just two of you, having that extra space to spread out feels pretty luxurious. The kitchen is actually functional too – not just some token setup with a mini-fridge – which came in handy since good room service gets expensive fast in this area.

What I really appreciated was how the building management runs things. Check-in was smooth, security is tight but not overbearing, and the staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations beyond the usual tourist spots. The 8.2 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not perfect (the Wi-Fi can be spotty in the back bedroom, and the air conditioning takes a while to cool down that much space), but the combination of location, space, and value is pretty hard to beat. If you’re looking to experience Makati without staying in some generic hotel room, and you want to be within walking distance of the best shopping and dining the city has to offer, this penthouse setup delivers exactly what it promises. Plus, there’s something undeniably satisfying about having your morning coffee on a penthouse balcony while watching the business district wake up below you.

  Las vistas son impresionantes. Las señoras que nos dieron las llaves hicieron lo posible por acabar pronto y fueron muy dispuestas para ayudarnos en el check in pues la propiedad pide copias de los pasaportes etc…
  
  What could be improved: Hay detalles en la limpieza y los remates que uno puede esperar en estos paises. Pero es normal. Se pretende una imagen de gran lujo pero luego ves detalles que demuestran que es solo apariencia. El apartamento esta muy bien y hace su función por ese precio. Lejano de downtown Manila. Minimo 30 minutos en Taxi. Pero eso es lo que tienes si te quedas en Makati.

  The place is big and more than enough for our family of 6. It is clean and complete with everything that we need. They even provided a gallon of drinking water. They have washing machines so we were able to wash our clothes. View from the balcony and the 2 of 3 bedrooms are so beautiful especially at night. We enjoyed the free access to amenities such as pool and entertainment room at the 4th flr. Check in and out was fast and smooth. Elevator was fast and not much queue even though the unit is at the penthouse (63rd flr). Host and caretaker Ms. Sarah was responsive. Everything is good. Having 3 bathrooms is a major plus! We love our stay here and will definitely be back again.
  
  What could be improved: I would have rated 10/10 if it weren't for the lack of lighting in the dining area. During daytime it's fine because of the natural light coming from the balcony. But during night time, it is a bit dark when eating dinner. We just transferred the lamp beside the couch to add light and returned it before we checked out. Other than that, it's all good.

  La ubicación excelente, muy cerca de restaurantes, discotecas y centros comerciales. El apartamento con todo lo necesario para estar estancias largas, 3 habitaciones amplias con camas muy cómodas, las vistas increíbles. El personal atento, varias instalaciones para aprovechar el día, piscina gimnasio, sauna…. no sé puede pedir más por el precio
