I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Field Residence SMDC 1BR w/ Netflix, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a condo-hotel setup in Paranaque. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you walk into this four-star property, it feels less like a hotel and more like you’re crashing at a friend’s really nice apartment – which, in a way, you kind of are.

The one-bedroom unit I stayed in was genuinely spacious, and I mean actually spacious, not that cramped “cozy” nonsense you usually get. The living area flows nicely into a proper kitchenette where you can actually cook if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night. And yes, they really do have Netflix already set up on a decent-sized TV, which honestly saved me the usual hassle of trying to log into streaming services on hotel systems. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with concrete, and the air conditioning – crucial in this climate – worked perfectly without sounding like a jet engine.

What really won me over, though, was the location and the whole vibe of the building. Field Residences sits in this interesting part of Paranaque where you’re close enough to the airport that you’re not dealing with horrific Manila traffic for hours, but far enough that you’re not hearing planes constantly. The building itself has this modern feel without being sterile, and the security is solid – you know, the kind where they actually check IDs but aren’t rude about it. There’s a pool area that’s usually pretty quiet during weekdays, and the elevators are fast, which might sound trivial until you’re staying on a high floor and running late. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night because, well, why rush back to reality when you’ve got a setup this comfortable? The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal, and with a 9.2 rating from other guests, it’s clear I’m not the only one who appreciates what they’ve got going here.

  A nice flat not far from the airport by taxi, and only a 15 minute walk to Dr Santos metro station which takes you straight to the centre, so convenient for that.

  What could be improved: not smooth checking in because they couldnt find my Booking, even i showed them the confirmation booking and dates. but the Guards are only doing their job. but it was resolved after an hour. Netflix, having trouble connecting due to their unstable internet provider.

  For a couple like us, its just alright. we are only after the, tidyness, cleanliness(toilet and bed linens), comfort wise, aircon is quiet and cold, perfect for resting. overall, well recommended, if youre looking for a place to stay, Owner is so accomodating, and veryconcern ,to address some hassles.
  
  What could be improved: Checking in is a bit annoying and stressful because, you dont have number to call to, when the Lobby Guards, asking for some requirements beforechecking in, when you only have Confirmation booking from BOOKING.COM, and from Property Manager, and showing them all the Emails. but the owner step in to iron out things, so overall, i will not complain,the GUARDS IS JUST ENSURING AND PROTECTING THE PROPERTY. so 5 Stars for Thewhole experience

  Emerson is a superb landlord. Even though we presented him with a difficult situation before we even checked in, he worked with us and fixed everything. I highly recommend this condo.

  The room is very cozy and comfortable, the mall is just outside so very convenient for shopping.

  Being relatively close to the shopping centre and bus/jeepney stations to get into other part of Metro Manila.
