But step inside and it’s like you’ve been transported somewhere completely different.

This five-star place actually lives up to its rating, which isn’t something I say lightly after staying in plenty of hotels that promise the moon and deliver… well, significantly less. The residences feel more like upscale apartments than typical hotel rooms, and I mean that in the best way possible. You get proper living spaces with kitchenettes that are actually functional – not those tiny coffee-making corners most places pass off as kitchens. The staff seems to genuinely care about making your stay comfortable, though check-in can take a bit longer than usual since they walk you through all the apartment-style amenities.

What really works here is the location within Manila. Sure, you’re not right in Makati’s heart, but that’s actually refreshing – you get breathing room without being stuck in the middle of nowhere. The tower itself is modern and well-maintained, with decent security that doesn’t make you feel like you’re entering a fortress. Parking is surprisingly manageable, which anyone who’s driven around Manila will appreciate. The pool area gets busy on weekends (fair warning), but during weekday afternoons it’s this peaceful little escape above the city chaos. I spent more time there than I planned, just watching the Manila skyline shift from afternoon to evening. The fitness center is small but has the essentials, though if you’re serious about your workouts, you might want to scope out nearby gyms. One thing that impressed me – the soundproofing is excellent. Manila can be loud, but inside these rooms, you’d hardly know you’re in one of Southeast Asia’s busiest cities. The beds are genuinely comfortable, not just “hotel comfortable,” and the air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine all night.
