I’ll be honest – when I first walked into KL Executive Greenbelt on Soria Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like another business hotel tucked into Legaspi Village. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best possible way. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, and the staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests rather than just going through the motions. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to create this calm bubble right in the heart of Makati’s business district – you’re literally surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants and shopping, but once you’re inside, the urban chaos just melts away.

The rooms at this four-star property are what I’d call intelligently designed rather than flashy. Everything works the way it should (which, honestly, isn’t always a given in Manila hotels), and they’ve clearly thought about what business travelers actually need. The beds are properly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the bathrooms have that rainfall shower situation that makes you want to linger longer than you probably should. I mean, the whole place feels like it was designed by people who actually stay in hotels themselves, if that makes sense. The air conditioning is quiet and effective, which matters more than you might think when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag in tropical humidity.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the location within Legaspi Village itself. You’re a five-minute walk from Greenbelt Mall – and I mean an actual five minutes, not hotel brochure five minutes – plus you’ve got access to all those hidden gem restaurants that locals frequent along the side streets. The weekend market at Salcedo is just around the corner, and if you need to get anywhere else in the metro, you’re positioned perfectly for reasonable taxi rides or Grab pickups. The 9.2 rating this place gets makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Manila, but it absolutely nails everything it sets out to do. The service feels personal rather than corporate, the location gives you the best of both worlds with business convenience and residential quiet, and honestly, the value proposition is pretty excellent for what you get in this part of the city.

  We are very satisfied with our stay at KL Executive. The air conditioning was nice and cold, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is close to everything we needed. Desiree and Jovin were very kind and helpful during our stay.
  Thanks to our housekeeper Nars, who cleaned our room every day and changed our towels. The room smelled nice when we returned. He was also very kind and helpful, bringing our luggage to our room.
  The guards were always smiling, opened the door for us, and helped us put our luggage in the taxi. We really appreciated the complimentary snacks, coffee, and bathroom utensils.
  We will definitely stay at KL Executive again.

  The property was right next to a lovely park and road where it was very easy to call for a grab. 7/11 was also next door so location wise – it was fantastic! Nono’s was also right next door – perfect brekkie spot!! Staff was always lovely, kind, and respectful, always opening doors and greeting us no matter the time of day etc. They had complimentary snacks, your usual shower kits etc, and the hotel room itself looked like it was taken care of very well. We can tell they take pride in their work!! Very beautiful.
  
  What could be improved: No downside!! I guess if i HAD to really nitpick something- the elevator was always quite humid and hot and when you got in it felt like you were trapped in a sauna – but it was only for a short while.
