Luxent Hotel Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Luxent Hotel on Timog Avenue, I wasn’t expecting much. The entrance is pretty understated, almost easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, but that actually turned out to be part of its charm. This four-star place sits right in the heart of one of Quezon City’s busiest strips, and I mean busy – Timog can get absolutely chaotic during rush hour, but somehow the hotel manages to feel like a quiet refuge once you’re inside.
What really struck me was how they’ve nailed that balance between modern and comfortable without trying too hard. The lobby has this warm, almost residential feel – not too flashy, not trying to impress you with marble everything like some places do. The staff genuinely seems to care, which you notice in little things like remembering your coffee preference or actually giving useful directions instead of just pointing vaguely down the street. Speaking of directions, you’re literally walking distance from some fantastic local spots that most tourists never find. There’s this hole-in-the-wall sisig place two blocks down that locals queue up for, and if you’re into live music, the bars along Timog come alive after 9 PM – though fair warning, it can get pretty loud on weekends, so maybe ask for a room facing away from the avenue if you’re a light sleeper.
The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than luxurious, if that makes sense. Everything works properly (you’d be surprised how rare that can be), the AC is actually cold enough for Manila’s heat, and they’ve got decent water pressure in the showers. I mean, these aren’t huge suites or anything, but there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details – plenty of outlets near the bed, blackout curtains that actually block light, and wifi that doesn’t drop out every ten minutes. The 8.5 rating this place gets feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it consistently delivers on the basics while adding those small touches that make you want to come back. If you’re the type who prefers character over corporate polish, and you want to stay somewhere that feels connected to the real Quezon City rather than isolated from it, this is honestly a solid choice.
Apartments in Manila provide travelers with authentic local experiences, allowing them to explore traditional Filipino markets and experience daily life in historic Binondo and Malate neighborhoods.

A relaxing staycation with great amenities, delicious food, and fun activities for the family. – Patricia from Philippines – January 2, 2025 (9/10)
The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! We had a great time enjoying the arcade and pool area. This is the perfect place to unplug from gadgets and spend quality time having fun with your family. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: I hope the television setup could be upgraded or include more movie channels. Since our stay was primarily a staycation and the pool and arcade are only open until 9 PM, our next activity was movie night. However, the television was not Netflix-ready, and the cable channel selection was very limited. Limited options for entertainment.Wonderful – Steve from Australia – December 24, 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: No hot waterExceptional – Niño from Philippines – November 5, 2024 (10/10)
Spacious rooms. Comfortable Bed.
What could be improved: At the time we stayed in the hotel, the facilities located at 6th floor are undergoing renovation. We have not tried their gym. But, at any rate, great hotel.
