You know what caught me off guard about Luxury Hotel near City of Dreams, Solaire, NAIA, and MOA – City of Bridge? The name’s a mouthful, sure, but honestly, it tells you everything you need to know about why you’d want to stay here. I mean, when you’re planted right on Roxas Boulevard in Paranaque, you’re basically in the sweet spot for everything that matters in this part of Manila.

The four-star setup here actually delivers on what business travelers and weekend gamblers are looking for – I’ve stayed twice now, once for a work thing and once just because I had an early flight and didn’t want to deal with traffic from the city center. The rooms are solid, nothing fancy but clean and quiet enough that you won’t hear the boulevard traffic if you’re on the higher floors. What I really appreciate is how they handle the little things – check-in was smooth both times, the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real directions (not just “take a taxi everywhere”), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out when you’re trying to work. The 8.5 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it does what it promises without any nasty surprises.

Here’s what sold me on this place though – the location is genuinely brilliant if you know how to use it. You can walk to the casino resorts when you want that whole scene, but you’re also close enough to MOA that you can actually get decent shopping and food without the markup. NAIA is maybe twenty minutes away even in moderate traffic, which is huge if you’ve ever tried to get to the airport from Makati during rush hour. The boulevard can get busy, but there’s something kind of energizing about being right in the middle of all that action. Plus, the hotel sits in this interesting spot where you get views of the bay if you’re facing the right direction – not Instagram-perfect or anything, but nice to look at while you’re having your morning coffee. I’d definitely book here again, especially if I’m doing the airport-casino-mall circuit or need somewhere reliable that won’t eat up half my budget on a room I’m barely going to use anyway.

  1 night stop, perfect apartment near the airport. The apartment is in a condo building. Receptionist was super nice to help us order food from Panda app and help us with luggage’s to the flat

  I love the costumer service of the City of Bridge. Mary is very friendly and accommodating. I booked a stay twice in different occasions and unfortunately I forgot my iPad and my credit cards in those two different stays. When I lost my iPad. Mary found our email to notify us we forgot an iPad and we got it back at the earliest convenience. When I forgot my credit cards in my room, I was able to contact Mary right away and she was able to retrieve the lost items and I got them as soon as possible. I appreciate the honesty of Mary and the staff. Our rooms are very clean and the complimentary snacks and water bottles make traveling and staying a lot more manageable.
