Manhattan Plaza tower 1 Overview
You know what surprised me most about Manhattan Plaza tower 1? It’s tucked away on General Romulo Avenue in Quezon City, and honestly, I almost walked past it at first – the entrance is a bit understated compared to some of the flashier hotels in Manila. But once you get inside this four-star place, it actually feels more spacious and modern than you’d expect from the street view.
The rooms are what really sold me on this place. I mean, they’re not huge by international standards, but they’re thoughtfully designed with these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light during the day. The air conditioning works like a dream too – which, let’s be honest, is absolutely crucial when you’re dealing with Manila’s humidity. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stayed at night, even though General Romulo can get pretty busy with traffic during rush hours. The soundproofing is solid, and I actually slept through the night without earplugs for once. The bathroom setup is modern with decent water pressure (always a gamble in this part of the city), and they keep the housekeeping consistent – fresh towels daily, beds made properly, none of that half-hearted service you sometimes get.
The staff here genuinely seem to know the area well, which makes a difference when you’re trying to navigate Quezon City’s maze of streets and shopping centers. They pointed me toward some local spots I wouldn’t have found otherwise, and the front desk was helpful with taxi arrangements without being pushy about using expensive hotel cars. Parking is available if you’re driving, though the garage entrance is a bit tight – just something to keep in mind if you’ve got a larger vehicle. The location puts you within reasonable distance of major malls and business districts, but it’s not right in the thick of tourist chaos either. I’d say it hits that sweet spot where you feel connected to the city but can still decompress at the end of the day. For the price point and the 8.4 rating it’s earned, it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.

Overall, it's a great stay for those attending concerts or looking for a well-located place in the area. – Nurul from Malaysia – January 31, 2025 (10/10)
I recently stay at this unit during my trip to Manila and had a generally good experience. The location is excellent – Just 5 minit walk to New Frontier Theater, which is perfect for concertgoers. It's also conveniently near a mall and convenience store, making it easy to grab food and essentials. The unit is clean and have enough cooking appliances. The guy that assist us named Bryan was really nice. He showed us where we can withdraw money and asked to contact him incase we need anything.
What could be improved: There were a couple of minor inconveniences. The dustbin provided by the host was quiet small, which was challenging since we are most of our meals at the homestay and had a lot of trash to dispose of. Additionally, the shower soap ran out on the day we checked out, so it would be great if extra supplies were provided in advance.Exceptional – Rosanna from Australia – January 7, 2025 (10/10)
