You’re literally a quick tricycle ride from SM Mall of Asia, which is perfect if you need to grab essentials or just want to escape into some serious air conditioning and people-watching. The airport connection is legit too – I’ve done that run multiple times now, and it’s consistently under 20 minutes even with moderate traffic. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: you’re also really close to some fantastic local spots along Roxas Boulevard that tourists usually miss completely. There’s this little stretch of seafood places that locals hit up on weekends, and the sunset views over Manila Bay are honestly spectacular. The staff actually knows about these spots too, which I wasn’t expecting – they gave me directions to this hole-in-the-wall sisig place that became my go-to dinner spot for the entire trip. Check-in was smooth, no weird deposit drama or anything, and they’re pretty flexible about storing luggage if you arrive early or need to leave it after checkout. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without any fuss, which is exactly what you want when you’re dealing with international flights and jet lag.
