I’ve stayed in plenty of places that overpromise and underdeliver, but this four-star spot right on 8th Avenue genuinely surprised me – in the best way possible.

The location is honestly perfect if you’re doing business in BGC or just want to be where the action is. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from High Street and all those corporate towers, but the apartment itself feels like a quiet retreat once you close the door. The balcony – and there actually is a proper balcony, not just a tiny ledge – faces away from the main street noise, so you can have your morning coffee without feeling like you’re sitting in traffic. The 300MBPS WiFi isn’t marketing fluff either; I was video calling clients back home with zero lag, which honestly made my week so much easier than I expected.

What really sold me on the place was how lived-in it feels, but in a good way. The owner clearly thought about what travelers actually need – there’s proper counter space in the kitchen (rare!), the shower has decent water pressure, and the AC doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on the roof. Little things, but they add up. The building itself is well-maintained, and getting in and out is straightforward – no confusing key card systems or grumpy front desk situations. I stayed during a pretty busy period in Taguig, and while the area gets bustling during rush hour, the apartment stays surprisingly peaceful. The bedroom actually blocks out light well enough for decent sleep, which is saying something considering how bright Manila can be at night. If you’re the type who needs everything to be Instagram-perfect, this might feel a bit too practical for you, but for anyone who values function over flash – and wants to be right in the heart of BGC without paying resort prices – this place hits the sweet spot.

  Location was very good
  
  What could be improved: The check-in was very long because there was only one person at the reception. I waited at least 40 minutes. When I finished checking in, I went to the 23rd floor and when I tried to unlock the padlock, the code I got didn't work. Frustrated, I went back to the front desk again where I waited in line again only for the person who worked to just tell me to try again. Waiting in line for the elevator again, again on the 23rd floor and tried again but I couldn't unlock the katabac. I sent a message to the owner
  But he didn't answer for 15 minutes. After a few attempts, I still managed to open the padlock.
  It was hellishly hot because there is no AC in the corridors.

  The apartment is similar to the pictures shown by the owner, locations is really good, there are many restaurants near the apartment and the Uptown mall centre is 10 mins walk.
  There are all the needs for your daily needs, instruments to cook, laundry machine, rice cooker, toiled paper, towels, etc.
  Also there are 2 air conditions, 1 in the living room and the other one is in the bedroom.
  Owner provides good information about how to get into the apartment, rules and answers any questions very quickly.

  キッチン、冷蔵庫、洗濯機、物干しと使いやすかった。ベッドは柔らかくなくて寝心地良かった。アイロン助かった。
  シャワー排水溝の詰まりも、すぐにメンテナンスが来て解決してくれた。ゴミの回収も毎日あり、よかった。
  BGCの一番新しいエリアらしく、賑やかさを求める人にはグッド。
  
  What could be improved: タオルの洗剤か柔軟剤がきつすぎてまいった。部屋の芳香剤も外に出していた。ボディソープも強いいちごの匂いで使わなかった。

  This unit was exceptionally clean, had all the essentials necessary like my own home, perfect location for all shopping and traveling needs.
  
  What could be improved: My only complaint was the batteries in both remote controllers for the air conditioning units were dying so I couldn’t control the air properly.
