I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Perfect blend of home & comfort, I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true. But after staying at this four-star spot in the Shore 2 Residences complex near MOA, I actually get what they’re going for. It’s tucked away in one of those newer residential towers in Pasay, which means you’re getting more of an apartment-style experience than your typical hotel room. The lobby feels more like you’re visiting someone’s upscale condo building than checking into a hotel, and honestly? That’s kind of refreshing.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – something you definitely don’t take for granted when you’re this close to Mall of Asia. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from all that chaos, but once you’re up in the tower, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The unit I stayed in felt genuinely spacious, with a proper kitchenette that I actually used (rare for me in hotels) and windows that give you decent views of the bay if you crane your neck just right. The whole setup reminded me more of an Airbnb, but with the reliability of daily housekeeping and a front desk. You know what I appreciated most? The air conditioning actually works properly – sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places in Manila get this wrong.

The location is pretty smart if you think about it. Sure, you’re not right in Makati or BGC, but being near MOA means easy airport access via the MRT, and there’s this whole ecosystem of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. I found myself grabbing coffee at the mall in the mornings, then coming back to what felt like my temporary Manila apartment. The staff seems to know regulars by name, which tells you something about the kind of place this is – people come back. My only real gripe? The elevators can be painfully slow during peak hours, and parking in the complex gets tight on weekends. But for the price point and the space you get, especially if you’re planning to spend more than just a night or two in the area, it’s actually a solid choice. The 8.3 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but it delivers on that whole “home away from home” thing better than most.

  The location is great. The place is good with thoughtful freebies. I must say the honesty pantry store idea is superb. The host is very responsive. As for the areas for improvement, hope the bidet has its dedicated holder and hope the squeaky bed frame will be fixed. Overall, our stay is great and will surely book this again for another trip this June. Thank you.

  We're satisfied with our overall stay. Simple but elegant room. Free usage of appliances and utensils. The guards are approachable.
  
  What could be improved: The door lock code was automatically reset without our knowledge on the last day of our stay, prior to our check-out time. I had difficulty connecting with the host at that time since our mobile network signal was too weak in the area. I panicked when the door alarmed due to multiple incorrect attempts. We waited for 30-40 minutes until the host was able to provide the updated door code via Booking.com message. It would have been easier if the host had provided a phone number to reach her for urgent matters.
  
  There was also a small cockroach that messed up our food during our second night. 😔

  Accessibility of the place was great, a lot of food stalls downstairs and a very comfy lobby, condo unit was very close to the elevator and easy to find. Bed was comfy, there was an extra mattress you could use, room smelled nice, air-conditioning worked great, comfort room was also very decent except that the bidet did not have a handle/holder which isn't really a bad thing, we just found it funny. Price was okay for the stay and considering it was really close to where we needed to be.
  
  What could be improved: NOT the properties fault, but the building's elevators smelled like dirty laundry almost all of the time we stayed there, and the mobile signal in the lobby was very bad. there were also tiny cockroaches in the property but it wasn't that much of a bother. Also I wish the property managers would be more proactive with communication and/or provide a more convenient way of communication asides from booking/.com.

  The owner is very accomadating in replying all my questions in the first day of stay. The unit is clean, very homy vibes. It feels like a home away from home. Very convenient in buying things i need because there are many resto and convenience store just within the area.
