Sea Residences MoA Manila Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Sea Residences MoA Manila, I thought it was just another generic condo-hotel trying to capitalize on the Mall of Asia location. But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why it’s become such a popular spot for both tourists and business travelers heading to Manila.
The thing that struck me right away was how the four-star property manages to feel residential rather than hotel-stuffy. You’re basically staying in furnished apartments within the Sea Residences complex, which means you get actual living spaces with kitchenettes – super handy if you’re tired of eating out every meal or traveling with kids who need their snacks at weird hours. The units I’ve seen are genuinely spacious, not those cramped “suites” some hotels try to pass off. You know what’s really nice? The floor-to-ceiling windows that give you either bay views or city skyline, depending on which tower you end up in. Morning coffee while watching the sunrise over Manila Bay is honestly pretty spectacular, even if the weather’s a bit hazy.
Location-wise, you’re literally walking distance from SM Mall of Asia – I mean, it’s right there, which is either a blessing or a curse depending on how you feel about massive shopping centers. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being in the MOA Complex means you’re also close to some decent restaurants that aren’t just mall food court stuff. The area gets busy during weekends and holidays (think crowds and traffic), but weekday evenings are surprisingly chill. I’ve walked around Sunrise Drive and the waterfront area at night without any issues, though like anywhere in Manila, just stay aware of your surroundings. The staff at Sea Residences are pretty accommodating – they’ve helped me arrange everything from airport transfers to restaurant recommendations that locals actually go to, not just tourist traps. One small thing that matters: the wifi is reliable enough for video calls, which you can’t always count on in Manila hotels. The pool area is decent too, nothing fancy but clean and usually not overcrowded unless there’s some event happening at MOA. Parking can get tight during peak times, but there’s generally space available. If you’re planning to explore other parts of Manila, grab rides during off-peak hours because traffic from Pasay can be brutal during rush times – but honestly, that’s just Manila life.

Reviews of Sea Residences MoA Manila
Its great… except for that regard. No comforter – Madelyn from Canada – February 18, 2025 (7/10)
Close to Mall of Asia, restaurant, bakery and most importantly close to the airport
What could be improved: I booked for 3. The main bedroom has the proper bedding it has comforter. The pull out bed in the living room area that converts to 2 single bed ,, one has only a fitted sheet . The other one they provide a fitted sheet and 1 thin top sheet. How can you sleep properly without a blanket? Just to warn guest , even if you say youre booking for 3, you will pretty much sleep naked. They took the name on registration also, they are aware. Im not a local , im a traveller from abroad, you cannot expect me to bring my own comforter. I hope next time the servicce will be better.Wonderful – Clark from United States – February 2, 2025 (9/10)
