Seaside Manila Bay Sunset View at SM Mall of Asia Overview
I’ll be honest, when I first heard the name Seaside Manila Bay Sunset View at SM Mall of Asia, I thought it was trying way too hard – but then I actually stayed there, and well, they’re not kidding about that sunset view. This four-star spot sits right on Seaside Boulevard in the Shore Residences complex, and if you snag a bay-facing room, you’re basically getting front-row seats to one of Manila‘s most spectacular daily shows. The sunsets here aren’t just pretty – they’re the kind that make you stop mid-conversation and reach for your phone, even though photos never quite capture how the sky turns this incredible orange-pink over Manila Bay.
What really sold me on this place, though, is how it actually delivers on convenience without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble. You know how some hotels claim they’re near everything but you still end up taking expensive taxis everywhere? Not here. SM Mall of Asia is literally right there – and I mean you can see people walking to it from your window. When you need groceries, restaurants, or even just want to escape the heat for a few hours of air-conditioned wandering, you’re covered. The rooms themselves are surprisingly spacious for Manila standards, with that modern Filipino hotel aesthetic that’s clean without being sterile. The air conditioning actually works (trust me, this matters more than you think), and the beds are firm in that good way that doesn’t leave you with a sore back.
The staff here gets it – they’re helpful without being hovering, and most speak excellent English, which honestly makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out the best way to get to Intramuros or whether it’s worth braving traffic to Makati. I loved that the building feels secure but not fortress-like, and there’s decent WiFi throughout, which is clutch if you’re working remotely or just trying to navigate the city. The only minor thing is that weekend evenings can get a bit lively with families and groups enjoying the bay area, but honestly, that energy is part of what makes this area special. Plus, if you’re here for the sunset views and that perfect Manila Bay location where you can actually walk places, the occasional buzz of a Friday night crowd is a small trade-off for being right in the heart of one of the city’s best waterfront experiences.

Reviews of Seaside Manila Bay Sunset View at SM Mall of Asia
Just give it a try! Blind book it and you will not regret your stay. – Mark from Philippines – August 19, 2025 (10/10)
Smells like luxury unlike other condo type that we stayed before, literally no funky or weird smell. The air conditioner is split type and not window type so the temperature inside the unit is optimal for comfort. The unit feels modern; light system integrated with alexa, a good functioning smart tv, they have a good speaker if you like to enhance your mood during your stay thanks to their apple homepod mini and no need to carry the keys and hassle with you because the door is equipped with passkey, just don’t forget the pin. Lol. But the host will gladly help you when you are lack-out. The unit has a spacious balcony overlooking the city and seaside, I enjoy overlooking the city lights. They provide body gel, shampoo and conditioner too in a bottle to make sure there’s enough for the team just don’t take it with you when you check out. 🤣
