You’re right off Roxas Boulevard, so you can walk to the baywalk in about five minutes, but Lourdes Street itself is quiet enough that you’re not hearing traffic all night. I mean, there’s still some city noise – this is Manila after all – but nothing like what you’d get if you were directly on the boulevard. The staff at check-in seemed genuinely happy to see guests, which isn’t always a given at mid-range hotels here, and they actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give real recommendations (not just the usual tourist traps). The rooms have this beachy vibe that could feel gimmicky, but they pulled it off with decent linens and bathrooms that are clean and modern. The AC works properly too, which – let’s face it – is non-negotiable in this climate.

What really won me over though was how they handle the little things. There’s covered parking that doesn’t cost extra, the wifi actually reaches the rooms reliably, and the breakfast setup runs late enough that you don’t have to wake up at dawn to get decent options. The pool area feels more like a proper resort than you’d expect for this price point, and it’s usually not crowded during weekday mornings. Evening times can get busier with families, but honestly, the energy is pretty good. They’ve got this outdoor seating area where you can grab a drink and watch the sunset direction over the bay – not a direct view, but you get the colors reflecting off the buildings. The whole Brgy. San Rafael area is actually pretty walkable once you get oriented, with decent local restaurants within a few blocks and easy jeepney access if you want to explore further into the city. It’s not luxury by international standards, but for the price and location, it hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re getting more than you paid for.

  The property was good, cozy, clean and very possible for one until two persons.
  Netflix and HBO is available for free and that was good actually.
  
  What could be improved: little bit noisy cause he street the door of the balcony not closed enough to cancel the noisy .. and also the refrigerator was too loud. I woke up in the night a few times because of it.
