Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Shore 2 Residences T1, MoA WTC SMX Arena 1br 4pax, I thought someone had just mashed together a bunch of location codes. But you know what? That jumbled name actually tells you everything you need to know about why this place works so well. It’s right there in the thick of everything that matters in Pasay’s entertainment district, literally walking distance from Mall of Asia, the World Trade Center, and SMX Convention Center.

The location on Seaside Boulevard is honestly what sold me on this four-star setup. You’re basically positioned at the epicenter of Manila Bay’s busiest stretch – I mean, step outside and you’ve got that massive MOA complex right there, plus all those concert venues and convention spaces. The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious for a one-bedroom that sleeps four people (they’ve got a decent sofa bed situation going on), and the 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re actually staying there. The building feels solid and well-maintained, which honestly isn’t always a given in this area, and the staff seem to have their act together during check-in.

What I really appreciated was how practical everything felt – there’s proper air conditioning that actually works (crucial during Manila’s brutal humidity), a kitchenette that’s useful if you want to grab groceries from MOA instead of eating out every meal, and surprisingly good WiFi considering how many people are probably streaming in the building. The views depend on which side you’re on, but even if you don’t get the bay view, you’re still looking out at one of the most dynamic parts of the metro. Parking can get a bit crazy during big events at the arena – I learned that the hard way during a weekend concert – but most of the time it’s manageable. The area does get lively in the evenings, especially when there’s something happening at SMX, but the windows do a decent job blocking out most of the noise. Just don’t expect total silence if you’re a super light sleeper. Really though, if you’re planning to hit up the major shopping, catch some shows, or you’re in town for business events, this spot eliminates so much of Manila’s notorious traffic headaches since you’re basically already where you need to be.
