Shore 3 Mall of Asia – Sofian Suites Overview
So I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Shore 3 Mall of Asia – Sofian Suites, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a hotel that’s basically inside a residential tower. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into SMDC Shore 3 Residences right on Seaside Boulevard, and the moment you step into the lobby, you realize this isn’t your typical mall hotel experience. The setup is more like high-end serviced apartments, which means you get way more space than most four-star places, plus there’s something refreshingly calm about being in a residential building rather than a bustling hotel corridor.
The location is honestly brilliant if you’re planning to spend time around Mall of Asia – I mean, you can literally walk there in your pajamas if you wanted to (though I wouldn’t recommend it). What I love is that you’re close enough to all the action but far enough from the main drag that you don’t get the constant noise from Seaside Boulevard traffic. The suites themselves are genuinely spacious, with proper kitchenettes that actually work – not those sad mini-fridges with a hotplate that most hotels try to pass off. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re dealing with Manila heat and humidity. I stayed during a particularly busy weekend when MOA was packed for some concert, and while I expected chaos, the building stayed pretty quiet. The staff knows the area inside and out too – they pointed me toward this great little Filipino breakfast spot on Sunrise Drive that I never would’ve found otherwise.
Here’s what really sold me on this place though – the view from the higher floors is actually stunning, especially if you catch sunset over Manila Bay. It’s one of those moments where you remember why you love traveling in the first place. The WiFi is solid (I was working remotely part of my stay), and there’s decent parking if you’re brave enough to drive in Manila traffic. The only minor thing I’d mention is that check-in can be a bit slower since they’re managing both hotel guests and residents, but honestly, once you’re settled, it feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice apartment than a hotel. If you’re looking for that typical resort experience with pools and spas, this isn’t it – but if you want space, location, and that local residential vibe while still having hotel services, this place hits the sweet spot.

What could be improved: Air-con to be in bedroom. Although there was aircorn in the lounge room. It wasn't cold enough to reach to the bedroom.Exceptional – Jorasz from Netherlands – July 4, 2025 (10/10)

The unit was modern, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was excellent, close to Mall of Asia and lots of restaurants. Check-in was smooth, and the host was accommodating.
What could be improved: It’s not really that I didn’t like anything, but the space felt a bit tight for us because we had 5 luggages and there wasn’t much room to store them.It was a short stay but it was very comfortable, very clean place and location very accessible to food and grocery – Eden from United States – May 22, 2025 (10/10)
Very clean and responsive owner
What could be improved: NoneStress free and cosy place for a short stay. – George from Singapore – May 13, 2025 (9/10)
Location – close to the conference venue, the amenities were excellent, good water pressure for the shower and sinks, bidet available. Absolutely loved the bed and the microfiber blanket, so comfortable!
What could be improved: The sole airconditioning unit provides air cooking for the entire flat. Would have liked the fan on the wall directing cooled air to the bedroom to be a bit bigger.Cute, clean and central – Livia from Italy – April 7, 2025 (10/10)
Lovely little studio near the fabulous Mall of Asia. Communication with the host was very easy and the check-in process was quick. There are convenient stores and restaurants nearby, and you can walk to the mall in 10-15 minutes. Cute, clean place — would stay here again.
It was a pleasant and comfortable stay. – Daniel from Philippines – March 28, 2025 (10/10)
I like the location. It’s a great spot!
Dislike – perhaps a roll of kitchen towel can be added on the counter area. We somehow used the kitchen (which was great), but we couldn’t find anything that can help us clean the surface of the counter/stove area.Wonderful – Aprilgrace from United Kingdom – November 20, 2024 (9/10)
