Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Spacious 2BR at SoMa BGC Near SM Aura and Bonifacio High Street, I thought it sounded more like a Craigslist ad than a hotel. But you know what? Sometimes the most straightforward names tell you exactly what you’re getting, and that’s definitely the case here. This four-star spot in the South of Market Private Residences is actually one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you’ve got insider access to BGC without paying those crazy Shangri-La prices.

The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Taguig at all. You’re literally at the corner of 25th Street and 11th Ave, which means you can walk to SM Aura in about eight minutes (I timed it), and Bonifacio High Street is just as close. What I really appreciated though was how quiet it gets at night – you’re close enough to everything that matters but tucked away from the main drag where all those finance bros hang out until 2 AM. The building itself has that modern residential feel, which I actually prefer to staying in a traditional hotel sometimes. There’s something nice about having a proper kitchen and living space, especially if you’re staying more than a few nights or traveling with family.

The two-bedroom setup is genuinely spacious – and I mean actually spacious, not “spacious for Manila” spacious. The master bedroom gets great natural light, and honestly, the whole place feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped (I made coffee every morning and even cooked a few times), and there’s a dining area that’s perfect for spreading out if you’re working remotely. What really won me over was the attention to details – good water pressure, reliable WiFi, and air conditioning that actually keeps up with Manila’s humidity. The building has decent security too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re not familiar with the area. I mean, BGC is pretty safe overall, but it’s always nice to have that peace of mind. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but the staff knows the building well and can point you toward spots that aren’t obvious. My only real complaint is that the walls are a bit thin – I could occasionally hear conversations from the hallway, though it was never really disruptive. For the price point and that 9.1 rating it’s earned, this place delivers exactly what it promises, which is more than I can say for a lot of Manila accommodations.

  The property has 3 strong a/c units and fans. It is also somewhere in the 10-14th floor so it's not that high (for those who do not like staying in higher floors). Everythings else in BGC is within a 1-15min walk. The comfort rooms are clean. The sheets and pillows are in a desired softness.

  Location was fantastic walking distance to everything. The space itself felt like home. We loved all the amenities and the host was quick to respond.
