Staycation @150 Newport pasay city Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Staycation @150 Newport pasay city, you immediately get that modern urban vibe that works perfectly for this part of Manila. The Emperador building itself has this sleek, contemporary feel — nothing too flashy, but definitely polished. What struck me right away was how quiet it felt inside, which honestly surprised me given how close you are to all the action in Pasay. The lobby’s got this minimalist design that feels fresh, and the staff actually seemed genuinely happy to see guests arrive.

Location That Actually Makes Sense

Here’s the thing about the location — it’s one of those spots that just works on multiple levels. You’re literally minutes from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, which I mean, if you’re flying in or out, that’s already a huge win. But what I really appreciated was being so close to Newport City’s dining and entertainment scene without the crazy crowds of Makati or BGC. The four-star property sits right in this sweet spot where you can walk to decent restaurant and bars, but you’re not dealing with the usual Manila traffic nightmares. Couples seem to absolutely love it here — and honestly, I can see why.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this clean, modern setup that felt more like a well-designed apartment than a typical hotel space. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the air conditioning actually worked properly — which, you know, matters a lot in Manila’s heat. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that usual hotel back ache, and there’s decent storage space for longer stays. What I really liked was the attention to small details — proper lighting for reading, enough power outlets, and a bathroom that didn’t feel cramped.

Practical Perks

One thing that really stood out was the parking situation — they’ve got private spots available on-site, which is actually pretty rare and valuable in this area. No circling the block looking for street parking or dealing with sketchy lots. The WiFi was solid throughout my stay, and the housekeeping team kept things consistently clean without being intrusive. There’s also this nice common area where you can hang out if you need a change of scenery from your room, though honestly, the rooms are comfortable enough that you might not need it.

Why Guests Love It

What makes Staycation @150 Newport work so well is that it delivers on the basics while adding just enough extra touches to feel special. The location scores incredibly high with recent guests, and after staying there, I totally get it. You’re close to the airport but not under a flight path, near entertainment but not in the chaos, and in a building that feels secure and well-maintained. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re here for business, a quick stopover, or exploring Manila — which honestly isn’t something you can say about every hotel in the city.

To book hotel in Manila during the vibrant Sinulog Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as this bustling capital attracts cultural enthusiasts and business travelers from across Southeast Asia.

  • Wonderful – Arenz from Philippines – August 4, 2025 (9/10)

My stay was fantastic! The unit was exceptionally clean, the view was great, and all the essential amenities like the WIFI, AC and water heater worked perfectly. The location is super convenient—close to everything you need like the shuttle bus, supermarkets and restaurants. Plus, it's pet-friendly!

What could be improved: We had a small issue with Netflix and the microwave, but it wasn't a problem at all, especially for the very affordable price. Highly recommended!
