studio condo building 81 newport boulevard Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about studio condo building 81 newport boulevard, the name threw me off a bit. It sounds more like an address than a hotel, but that’s actually part of its charm. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Pasay, and once you get there, you realize it’s basically a well-run apartment building that’s been converted into serviced accommodations. The location on Newport Boulevard is actually pretty smart – you’re close enough to NAIA that you can hear the occasional plane (nothing too disruptive, honestly), but far enough that you’re not dealing with the chaos of the immediate airport area.
What struck me most was how local it feels. I mean, you’re not getting the polished lobby experience of a big chain hotel, but there’s something refreshing about that. The studio units are surprisingly spacious for Manila standards, and whoever designed them actually thought about how people live – decent kitchen setups, proper storage, and windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how rare that is). The building itself has this practical, no-nonsense vibe that I found oddly comforting. Security is tight without being overbearing, and the staff genuinely seem to know their regular guests by name. The elevator can be slow during peak hours, but honestly, that just gave me more time to chat with other travelers.
You know what really sold me on this place? It’s the neighborhood. Cluster 6 might not sound glamorous, but you’re walking distance from some fantastic local eateries that most tourists never find. There’s this little carinderĂa two blocks over that serves the best adobo I’ve had outside of someone’s home kitchen. Plus, getting around is actually easier than you’d think – jeepneys run regularly along Newport, and ride-hailing apps know exactly where you are. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you consider you’re getting solid value without paying resort prices. It’s not fancy, but it’s real, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re trying to experience Manila like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through.
To book a hotel in Manila during major cultural celebrations, travelers need early planning as this dynamic Philippine metropolis draws visitors eager to experience its tropical climate and historic colonial architecture.

Just a very decent and affordable option to stay at in Manila.
Great location too!Booked it just so we could get a few hours sleep having an 8 hour layover. Big room, comfortable bed, great showers and – Katrina from Australia – June 28, 2025 (8/10)

Great location near terminal 3. For short stay great place.
What could be improved: The blanket was a bit too small for two people.Very Good – Jemah from Australia – June 15, 2025 (8/10)
The unit is clean and comfy, and we appreciated how near it is to the airport—very convenient location!
What could be improved: Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working during our time in the unit, which made it difficult for us to stay connected. Also, the unit is quite far from the elevator (which is shared by Clusters 5 & 6), so my mother—who is a senior citizen—had to walk a long distance through the corridors to reach the unit, which was a bit challenging for her.Really bad WiFi connection – Vanessa from Germany – June 14, 2025 (7/10)
The apartment is clean and comfortable and close by the airport
What could be improved: We booked the apartment mainly because it’s close to the airport and had great reviews for the Wi-Fi, which was important to us since we had some work to do online. Unfortunately, the internet barely worked. Although we were connected, it failed to load even the simplest websites most of the time — around 90% of the time it was unusable.Good – Precious from Philippines – May 25, 2025 (7/10)
The unit was nicely presented. It’s very close to NAIA terminal 3 and loads of restaurants surounding the area
What could be improved: The airconditioning unit was dripping. It disturbed our sleep.Wonderful – Howard from United Kingdom – April 29, 2025 (9/10)
Location is great for T3

What could be improved: NothingVery nice! Definitely coming back again soon! Maybe more days or even weeks to stay – Jerwil from Philippines – February 24, 2025 (8/10)
Close to airport
What could be improved: The agent who will handover the key took time to deliver late night check in. Overall is excellent.Spacious and comfortable; good value for money! – Michelle from Philippines – February 15, 2025 (9/10)
It's near NAIA terminal 3 and other establishments in Newport City. The space is clean, big, and can accommodate 2-4 pax. You can also cook your own meals, go to condo's gym and pools. Bed is super comfy and AC is working fine, too. There's wifi and I was able to do some work during our stay. Will choose to book here if I need to stay again near terminal 3 🙂
What could be improved: There are a few little roaches in the kitchen and bathroom (which is weird because the unit is clean), I think they're from the neighboring units. No bidet in the toilet so I hope there's at least a tabo 🙂 Noise from the nearby highway.
