The Bauhouse Studio with Balcony near Eastwood Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about The Bauhouse Studio with Balcony near Eastwood, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place tucked away in the Nuvo District. But you know what? This four-star spot actually surprised me in all the right ways. The moment you walk into the Dream Tower complex (it’s literally behind Aspire, so you can’t miss it), there’s this modern, almost minimalist vibe that immediately tells you someone put real thought into the design here.
The studio itself is where things get interesting – and I mean that in the best possible way. The Bauhaus influence isn’t just some gimmicky name; they’ve actually committed to clean lines and functional design that somehow manages to feel both stylish and livable. The balcony is honestly the star of the show though. I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee, looking out over Quezon City and watching the organized chaos that is Manila traffic far below. There’s something oddly soothing about being above it all while still feeling connected to the energy of the city. The noise level is surprisingly manageable too – I was worried about being in such a busy area, but the tower does a decent job of buffering the street sounds.
What really won me over was how they’ve thought about the practical stuff that most places overlook. The check-in process was smooth (no standing around for ages), and the building’s security feels solid without being intimidating. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours – I learned that the hard way – but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this part of the metro. The location near Eastwood means you’re walking distance from tons of dining options and that whole entertainment district, which is perfect if you want to explore without dealing with Manila traffic more than necessary. I found myself grabbing late dinners at the nearby restaurants and just strolling back, which felt surprisingly safe and pleasant. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area well too – they pointed me toward this great local coffee place that I never would have found otherwise. It’s one of those stays where you can tell the difference between a place that’s just trying to fill rooms and one that actually wants you to have a good time in the city.
Best hotels in Manila range from luxurious high-rise properties in Makati business district to boutique hotels with stunning views of Manila Bay and the city’s impressive modern skyline.

Enjoyed my stay overall!
Comfy room! Quiet place to stay in the city! Helpful host! Awesome location. – Mary from Philippines – May 7, 2025 (10/10)
Love the aesthetic of the room. My kinda style, classic black and white.
Most importantly, I love that the room, the tower and the area is quiet. I mean you can hear the loud motorcycles or ambulance but it's still okay.
The host was very helpful in resolving issues and answering my concerns and queries.
Wifi is great, super fast!
You can request for a change of sheets and towels if you're still for several days.
Comfy sofa and a huge TV. The bed and pillows were comfy too.
Most of the items were already provided. There's a huge cabinet with an extra foldable bed and curtain. In the kitchen area, there's a huge refrigerator, tables and chairs, rice cooker, electric kettle, electric cooking plate, utensils, plates, mugs and glasses, cooking items. I like that I can access the balcony if I wanna have a nice cup of coffee while enjoying the view.
Location was perfect too. There's Lawson convenience store just in front of the building and a 24 hr supermarket All Day just a short 2-3 mins. walk along the highway beside S&R. Close to Eastwood City which offers a lot of restaurants and cafes.
What could be improved: Although almost everything was great but here are some cons. Once you settle in, you'd need to plug in everything like the wifi and refrigerator.
No blackout curtains so for someone like me who likes it a bit darker when mornings comes and usually wants to sleep in during the day, it always wakes me up coz the curtain was that white sheer ones only. I do have my sleeping mask but still, the light slips in.
No hangers in the cabinet or hooks to hang your used clothes. Only in the bathroom for the towels.
No curtain shower. So every time I shower, water would be all over the floor, although there was a mat which you can just move it all around. I would prefer to have a disposable or washable foot mat too to put outside the bathroom door. Also, maybe some small face towels.
I had an issue with the AC as it was not cooling the entire day until we figured that the filter needs replacing. Had to realize that in the middle of the night but the host was very accommodating to help us fix it and had a good night sleep after that.
Parking is chargeable and so is the usage of their swimming pool.Exceptional – Cadiz from Philippines – April 17, 2025 (10/10)
