But you know what, after actually staying there, I get it. The place has this surprisingly resort-like vibe that makes you forget you’re basically camped out near NAIA.

The location on the West Service Road along SLEX is actually pretty smart if you think about it. Sure, you’re not in the heart of Manila, but Parañaque has its own thing going on, and being right off the expressway means you can zip to Makati or BGC without dealing with the usual Metro Manila traffic nightmares. Plus – and this is huge – it’s genuinely about 7 kilometers from the airport, so those early morning flights don’t feel like death marches anymore. I’ve done that panicked 4 AM dash through Manila traffic too many times to count, so having a reliable buffer zone is honestly a game-changer.

What surprised me most about this four-star setup is how they’ve managed to create these suite-style accommodations that don’t feel cramped or corporate. The units have this residential feel – hence the “residences” part of the name, I guess – with actual living spaces where you can spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed. The soundproofing is decent too, which matters when you’re this close to a major highway. I mean, you’ll hear some traffic during peak hours, but it’s not the constant rumble you might expect. The air conditioning works like it should (critical in this climate), and the Wi-Fi actually handles video calls without making you look like a pixelated mess to your colleagues back home.

The staff genuinely seems to understand that most guests are either catching flights or just landed and are slightly disoriented. Check-in was smooth even when I rolled up at some weird hour, and they had good recommendations for nearby food spots – there’s this local place about ten minutes away that does amazing sisig, way better than airport food court options. The building itself sits in Brgy. Marcelo Green, which is one of those newer developed areas that’s still finding its identity but has decent infrastructure and isn’t completely overrun with traffic yet.

Look, this isn’t going to be your romantic getaway destination, and the tropical suite names are definitely more marketing than reality. But if you need a solid base near the airport that doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping in a glorified waiting room, it delivers. The value proposition makes sense – you get more space than a typical hotel room, reasonable proximity to both the airport and the city, and the kind of reliable service that lets you actually relax instead of worrying about logistics. For business travelers or anyone with those brutally timed international flights, it’s honestly one of the better options in this part of Metro Manila.

  What could be improved: The only downside is not practical to stay due to no amenities of anything you need to pay every moves unlike the hotels free breakfast, free gym, free use of swimming pools , in Azzure it’s reeping all your money to pay everything so better book a real hotel to enjoy all the benefits, the place itself is perfect except the amenities nothing at all so better book wise specially if you bring the whole family be get ready to spend more than in a hotel

  Staff are welcoming, the place is very clean and tidy, easy access to shops, the pool looks cool but we didn't have a chance to use it.

  What could be improved: the netflix is not working, got some issue on the remote. I also saw 1 small cockroach. Too many people in the pool, you cant enjoy it anymore. The parking attendant is rude, if client asks question politely, answer properly, no need to give unnecessary remarks.
