Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria by IHG Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Holiday Inn & Suites Manila Galleria by IHG, I wasn’t expecting much beyond your typical business hotel. But this four-star property on ADB Avenue actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby has this unexpectedly sophisticated vibe, with warm lighting and contemporary Filipino touches that feel authentic rather than forced. What really caught my attention though was how efficiently everything ran – check-in was genuinely smooth, and the staff seemed to actually know what they were doing rather than just going through the motions.
The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Manila at all. You’re essentially next door to the Galleria mall, which means you can grab everything from local street food at the food court to proper international brands without dealing with Manila’s notorious traffic. I mean, being able to walk to decent restaurants and shopping in this city is basically a superpower. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn – clean, comfortable beds, reliable air conditioning that actually works (crucial here), and surprisingly good water pressure in the showers. The suites are worth the upgrade if you’re staying more than a couple nights, especially since they give you space to spread out and a proper sitting area that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
What I really appreciated was how the hotel handles the practical stuff that can make or break a stay in Manila. The WiFi actually works throughout the building – not just in your room but in the common areas too. Parking isn’t a nightmare, which honestly deserves its own medal in this part of the city. The pool area on the upper floor is nothing fancy, but it’s a decent size and the views give you a nice perspective of the Ortigas skyline. You know what though? The breakfast spread was surprisingly solid – they’ve got the international basics covered but also include Filipino options that don’t feel dumbed down for tourists. The hotel tends to fill up with business travelers during the week, so it’s quieter on weekends if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. Just keep in mind that ADB Avenue can get busy during rush hours, but that’s Manila for you – at least you’re well-positioned to avoid the worst of it.

What could be improved: property shout provide small microwave ovenMisleading price on booking.com listing – Shien from Singapore – June 24, 2025 (9/10)
Connected to a nice mall with lots of restaurants and shopping
What could be improved: Housekeeping and front desk communication was poor. We checked in as family of four but housekeeping kept giving us only 2 sets of amenities and initially even asked to charge us extra when we needed towels for our children. Booking.com listing is also wrong. It says breakfast included for our 16 year but when we got there they explained that 16 year old are children by booking.com but not by hotel so hotel needs to charge us extra. In the end they waived the charge but they should not be putting such misleading price in booking.com.Wonderful – Olson from United States – May 28, 2025 (9/10)
Nice staff
What could be improved: NothingDespite of cons about our stay in this hotel, we're still looking forward to book this again. – Olga from Philippines – May 26, 2025 (8/10)
The staffs are accommodating and breakfast food they served are all good and they even allow us to take away fruits since my wife can't join us in breakfast buffet room because the hotel does not accommodate pets inside the buffet area.
What could be improved: 1. Pet amenities/toiletries is not worth it for its price and we just received 1 set of toiletries for our pet, but we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights.
2. Though we were informed on the day of our arrival, calling for assistance was a bit hassle because the telephone line from the suite room is not available
3. Pool is not available and offered us transportation going to Joy Nostalg Hotel for pool service that is very hassle for us.Will be back – Vama from United States – May 7, 2025 (8/10)
