The space itself is genuinely impressive for groups – and I say this as someone who’s stayed in way too many cramped “sleeps 10” places that barely fit six people comfortably. These four bedrooms actually make sense for ten guests, with enough breathing room that you won’t feel like you’re stepping over each other constantly. What really sold me on the place was how they’ve managed to capture that Venice vibe (hence the name, obviously) without going overboard with the theme. The Grand Canal replica running through the development is pretty spectacular, especially in the evenings when they light it up – though fair warning, it can get a bit crowded with residents and other guests taking photos around sunset. The apartment itself has floor-to-ceiling windows that give you decent views of either the canal or the city, depending on which side you end up on.

Here’s the thing about staying in BGC though – and this is something I wish someone had told me before my first visit – the location puts you right in the heart of everything, but that means weekday mornings can be absolutely chaotic with the business crowd. The trade-off is worth it because you’re literally walking distance from High Street, all the major malls, and some seriously good restaurants. I actually found myself using Grab less than usual because so much is accessible on foot. The building’s amenities are solid too – the pool area is well-maintained and rarely overcrowded (probably because most residents are working during the day), and the gym is better equipped than I expected. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re renting a car, but the building staff is pretty helpful with directions. One small thing that impressed me – the check-in process was smoother than most hotels I’ve stayed at, and the property management team seems to actually care about the guest experience rather than just going through the motions. With a 9.6 rating, you’d expect it to be good, but this place genuinely delivers on that promise without the pretentious attitude you sometimes get at high-end vacation rentals.
