I’ll be honest, when I first pulled up to Vito’s Freedom House in the SM Novaliches area, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this residential tower setup. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you, and this four-star spot definitely falls into that category.

The thing about staying in Quezon City is that you’re getting the real Manila experience without the complete chaos of the tourist zones – and Vito’s gets this balance just right. It’s tucked into Tower 4 of the Vine Residence complex, which honestly feels more like you’re staying in a friend’s upscale apartment building than a traditional hotel. The lobby area has this clean, modern vibe that’s refreshingly understated, and the staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which I always appreciate. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night despite being in such a bustling part of the city. The soundproofing is surprisingly good, and you can actually sleep without earplugs – trust me, that’s not always a given in Metro Manila.

The rooms themselves have that residential feel that works really well if you’re staying more than just a night or two. Everything’s practical without being boring – decent-sized beds, reliable air conditioning (crucial, obviously), and enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away with fancy amenities, but the basics are solid and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed. The kitchenette setup is genuinely useful too, especially since there’s a decent grocery store within walking distance. Speaking of walking, you’re really well-positioned here – SM City Grand Central is practically next door when you need that mall fix, and the MRT-7 connection makes getting around the metro area way less painful than you’d expect. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that I actually prefer to the more sanitized hotel districts. You’ll find great local food spots that aren’t trying to cater to tourists, and honestly, some of the best sisig I had during my entire trip was from a place just around the corner that the front desk guy recommended.

Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram-worthy luxury experience, and the 7.3 rating probably reflects that it’s good but not perfect. But if you want a comfortable base in QC that doesn’t feel like every other generic hotel, and you appreciate places where the value actually makes sense, Vito’s Freedom House delivers exactly what it promises. It’s the kind of spot where you settle in easily and focus on exploring the city rather than being pampered at your hotel – which, depending on what you’re after, might be exactly the point.

  Owner is very approachable and easy to talk to. Netflix account was provided. Liked the privacy of the place. Security guard is also nice. Everything was clean. Very soft pillows

  I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and I never worried of anything because the unit is complete of toiletries, drinking water, complementary coffee, and others. It's a self check in and check out, no hassle at all. This is by far the cleanest condo unit I have ever rented. Thank you!

  The apartment was spotless and very clean all staff on site even the security were very helpful. The sm mall was a very short walk away and had everything you can think of .
  
  What could be improved: Using grad for food was better than the UK even turner up early and hot .
  If you use grad for the taxi very cheap and only had one bad driver who decided in the tropical rain not to use skyway which you pay more for but still cheap if going to pasay or manila .
