Affordable Makati Serviced Apartments Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Affordable Makati Serviced Apartments, the name didn’t exactly scream luxury to me. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that don’t try too hard to impress you upfront. This four-star property sits right at the corner of Don Chino Roces and Arnaiz Avenue, and honestly, the location is pretty much perfect for anyone who wants to be in the thick of things without paying those crazy Greenbelt prices.

The thing that struck me most about this place is how it actually feels like you’re living in Makati rather than just visiting it. The serviced apartment setup means you get a proper kitchen – and I mean a real one, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with a mini-fridge and a prayer. I found myself picking up groceries from the nearby markets and cooking breakfast while watching the city wake up through those floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, with that clean, modern aesthetic that doesn’t feel sterile. The Wi-Fi is solid (crucial for anyone working remotely), and the air conditioning actually works properly, which… well, if you’ve spent time in Manila, you know that’s not always a given.

What really sold me on the place was the neighborhood vibe. You’re close enough to walk to the business district, but far enough from the main Ayala chaos that you can actually sleep at night. There’s this great little coffee shop just down the street that the staff told me about – the kind of local spot you’d never find on your own. The building’s security is tight but not intimidating, and the front desk folks genuinely seem to care about helping you figure out the city. I mean, they helped me navigate the jeepney routes, which is basically a rite of passage for anyone spending real time here. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can get a bit crowded during rush hours, but that’s pretty typical for this part of town. Overall, if you’re looking for a place that gives you space to breathe while keeping you connected to everything Makati has to offer, this spot delivers without breaking the bank.

  • Wonderful – Salome from Switzerland – March 22, 2025 (9/10)

Great location and very clean apartment. We didn't end up using the pool but it would have been free of charge to use which is nice.

  • Very good value for money and I will definitely stay there again at my next visit. – Jacob from Philippines – March 21, 2025 (8/10)

We were on the top floor and the view of Manila Bay is exceptional.
The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Also it had several useful appliances such as a good sized refrigerator, microwave and hair dryer, in addition to dishes and cutlery, all useful for an extended stay.
There was also a large, well maintained swimming pool and exercise track.
Location was very good with a big mall/department store/supermart/restaurants just across the road.

What could be improved: The one complaint I have relates to the hot water heater and shower head.
The heater is very temperamental and it is very difficult to fix a temperature.
The shower head could not be adjusted at all.

  • Good value for money. Listing slightly confusing though – François from Netherlands – February 26, 2025 (7/10)

Quite the mixed feelings here. This feels more like a Airbnb where you rent an appartment inside a residential building. No real staff, so you have to organize for people to arrive at the same time as you. The gym mentioned as part of services is actually with an abonnement. You can still use it for one day at a low price, but still not what we understood. Passed this feeling, the appartment is okay, comfortable and convenient. Location is good. Many restaurants around. The gym and swimming pool are great. There is even a sauna.
I'd say it's maybe a better place for slightly longer stays yhan a few nights, as lacking the convenience of an hotel.

  • Very Good – Daniela from United Kingdom – January 30, 2025 (8/10)

Very good location, nice view from 41 store. Amazing swimming pool and the most comfortable bed I slept.

What could be improved: The studio is a little bit smaller than I expected.

  • Good – Tomasz from Poland – January 24, 2025 (7/10)

Price; drinkable water dispenser; overall experience.

What could be improved: – Staff's response on the chat when I said I would show up earlier: "You got a problem."

    – The blanket on the bed had stains and was basically dirty.

  • Pleasant and safe – Jean-francois from France – November 19, 2024 (8/10)

    Swimming pool

What could be improved: Many repairs had to be done during my stay (the safe doesn’t work properly, the air con filtration fall down during the night, the door had to be replaced… bad luck ?)

  • Wonderful – Marianka from Netherlands – November 18, 2024 (9/10)

Comfortable apartment to stay in near to great restaurants, shops etc. The staff was always friendly and helpful in everything we needed.
