I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Cozy Place with City View at Greenbelt Makati, I was a bit skeptical. It sounds like someone just threw together a bunch of keywords, you know? But actually walking into this four-star spot on Gamboa Street completely changed my mind. The view from the upper floors is genuinely impressive, especially if you snag a room facing the Greenbelt area – you get this nice mix of the shopping district’s greenery and the sprawling cityscape of Makati stretching out beyond.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this surprisingly intimate atmosphere despite being right in the heart of the business district. The lobby doesn’t try too hard to be fancy, but there’s something genuinely welcoming about it – maybe it’s the way the staff actually remembers your name after day one, or how they’ve arranged the seating areas so you’re not sitting on top of other guests. The rooms live up to that “cozy” promise too, though I’d say they’re more thoughtfully designed than truly spacious. Everything feels deliberate, from the lighting that’s actually warm enough to read by, to the way they’ve positioned the desk so you’re not staring at a wall while working. The city view rooms on higher floors are definitely worth the upgrade if you can swing it – there’s something oddly calming about watching the evening traffic flow along Ayala Avenue from up there.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot of Makati. Greenbelt is literally a five-minute walk, which means you’ve got everything from high-end restaurants to that fantastic weekend market right at your doorstep. But here’s what I really appreciated – Gamboa Street itself is relatively quiet, so you’re not dealing with the constant honking and chaos of the main Ayala thoroughfares. I mean, you’ll still hear the city (this is Manila, after all), but it’s more of a gentle urban hum than a full assault on your ears. The hotel sits in this interesting pocket where you can easily walk to the Makati Central Business District for meetings, then duck back for a quick break before heading out to explore the nightlife scene. Parking can be a bit tight during peak hours, but the staff is pretty good about managing the situation – just don’t expect to roll up at 6 PM on a weekday and find a spot immediately.

  Had a great stay at this apartment. Very easy check-in and good communication with the host. Condo staff very friendly. The condo building has pool, gym, sauna which is great. Superb location with lots of restaurants nearby. The room itself is spacious and has everything you need with a lovely view from the balcony over the city. Will definitely stay at this apartment again on my next work trip. Thank you.

  Check in online and at the location was absolute excellent as to convenience and hospitality!
  The room is really cozy, with an eye for detail. I love the Legaspi Park and I had a great look at it after request.
