The lobby has this modern, understated vibe that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciate after dealing with some of the more over-the-top hotel entrances around Makati.

What really struck me about this location is how it manages to be both central and surprisingly quiet. You’re literally minutes from the Makati Central Business District, but tucked away on a side street that doesn’t get the crazy traffic noise. I mean, couples are rating the location 9.3 out of 10 for good reason — you can walk to Greenbelt or Glorietta in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of Ayala Avenue right outside your window. The area has this residential feel with small cafes and local eateries that you stumble upon just by wandering around.

The room setup here is what sets Air Residences apart from typical hotel stays. You’re getting actual apartment-style accommodations with a proper kitchen — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. I found myself actually cooking breakfast a few times, which felt oddly satisfying when you’re traveling for more than just a weekend. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you decent city views (though don’t expect anything too dramatic). The bed is comfortable enough, and there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the floor.

Practical Perks

The building amenities are solid without being flashy — there’s a decent pool area where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re on display, and the fitness center has the basics covered. What I really appreciated was the reliable wifi and the fact that the elevators work efficiently (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in Manila). The staff is helpful but not hovering, which matches the whole residential vibe they’ve got going. Parking is available, though you’ll want to confirm that when booking if you’re planning to rent a car.

Honestly, this place works because it gives you the independence of an apartment with the services of a hotel.   It was in a central location. The unit was good enough for me and my daughter. It was clean and basic amenities were like clean water, fridge and microwave were accessible. The bed was comfortable . We did not get the chance to avail of the 7G,8F where the pool and leisure space was located .

  Much traffic at the lobby with people checking in and out. Both were handled by 1 person. The elevators were always crowded and you have to wait for a while at times. There were several tho.

  The flat was beautifully furnished with a modern aesthetic that made it feel inviting. The folding bed was particularly comfortable, making it ideal for relaxing while watching Netflix movies in the cozy living area. Winnie, the host, was exceptionally communicative and responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The kitchen is impressively equipped with high-quality appliances and utensils; while we didn’t utilize it during our stay, it would be perfect for anyone planning to cook or prepare meals for an extended period. The bathroom, although compact, was thoughtfully arranged with all the essential items you might need, including plush towels and toiletries. It was also meticulously clean, adding to the overall positive experience.

  very good location, close to Greenbelt and Ayala museum. There is a pool with a nice view, especially in evenings. We enjoyed our stay here.

  We had an amazing stay, lovely decoration, the host is very welcoming, there is a a water filter, a laundry machine etc, lots of restaurants option on the first floor
