The four-star setup feels right for what you’re paying, though I’d say some rooms definitely feel more premium than others. The higher floors are where you want to be, not just for the views but because Shaw Boulevard never really quiets down completely. I stayed on the 8th floor and could still hear the jeepneys and buses, but it wasn’t the kind of noise that kept me awake – more like that urban white noise you get used to after a day or two.

What I really appreciated was how the staff seemed to actually know Manila beyond the typical tourist spots. The front desk guy gave me directions to this hole-in-the-wall Filipino restaurant about three blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise, and the housekeeping team was surprisingly flexible about timing – which matters when you’re dealing with jet lag or those marathon shopping sessions at the malls. The rooms themselves are clean and functional, nothing that’ll blow your mind but everything works properly. The air conditioning is strong (thank god, because Manila humidity is no joke), and the shower pressure is actually decent. I’ve stayed at places twice the price where you’re standing under what feels like a light drizzle, so that was a win. The WiFi held up even when I was video calling back home, though it did get a bit spotty during peak evening hours when everyone’s streaming. One thing to note – if you’re planning to spend serious time at either mall, this place makes perfect sense for dropping off shopping bags or taking a midday break. The Greenfield District has some solid dining options within walking distance too, so you’re not stuck eating mall food every meal, though honestly, the food courts at both Shangri-La and Megamall are pretty impressive if you know what to look for.

  The location was convenient. There was a weekend bazaar close to the condo. The pool was fine and the gym as well.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is old and worn out. The reviews on the website seemed fake after I moved it. My stay was 2 weeks, and it was quite unpleasant due to many, many cockroaches, big and small, flying in the room. The kitchen tap was leaking, so there was water under the stove and all around the kitchen cabinets. At some point, I got tired of wiping it.
  
  The furniture was quite old with stains. The window blinds didn't really cover the windows, so the light was quite bright the whole night. I felt very unlucky having booked this property. I even thought of moving out in several days, but my budget was tight.
  
  Guys, this is not worth the price. Just add a bit more money and save yourself from stress and trauma.

  Spacious room and good location. With Large TV for Netflix and a comfy sofa. Theres also a work desk area and small kitchen.
